This was my first time here and the friendly staff and management where helpful while we waited at the bar for the rest of our party. The decor alone is a vibe, there are covered patios area, different rooms, plus a rooftop. Our waitress gets 5 stars (Abrianna) she was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the drinks, she was helpful guiding our order and telling us about the different features of the restaurant. The food was good and the drinks were delicious, looking forward to going back for happy hour or brunch. Find parking can be a issue but they have $20 valet if you don't want to ride the block(s).
5 star service! Polite and Attentive staff.

Their service was amazing. Our waitress Karen was attentive & welcoming. Overall great brunch experience.
So we got together for my boyfriend's sister's birthday and reservations were for 3pm. When we arrived I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. They had a sign for valet but valet wasn't available. I found parking after a while. When we walked in it was live in there. They did a thorough check of bags etc. I didn't expect a live party like atmosphere. We were seated in an area with a booth. I forgot the young lady's name that was our server but she was very nice.We started with drinks and I ordered the red wine and when it came out it was such a small amount. It was about 4oz with a high cost. As we drank we were entertained by dancing in costumes and snakes. We were now ready to order food. I ended up with the chicken tacos and it wasn't good and it was oily. The others had chicken and waffles and they said it wasn't seasoned well. The food was not too pleasing. This was an ok experience for me and probably a one and done.
So my sister and I were super excited to come here.. First I have to say that I thought there was absolutely no parking at all. On the side street there is a tiny parking lot for them which is ok because around Newark there is never parking. We walked in to this beautiful colorful area with sombreros and flowers.. ?? The view was so beautiful 10/10 for sure.. Also the music was bumpin 10/10Bruna was a server for the evening and she was polite and attentive..My sister and I started with the Margaritas first! I had the Coconut & sister had the Pineapple.. they were 7/10 not bad but not great..We started off with the Queso Fundido (stated by my sis HOT MILK ANYONE) is didn’t really have flavor is was more milky then anything and if you let it get cold it gets hard and clumpy so that was a 6/10 (our server gave us a warning so that’s fine)The Mexican Shrimp App was delicious 9/10 for sure came out hot with flavor to it.We also got a salad with shrimp that was super based with barely any dressing and tasty shrimp.. 5/10So here we go with round two of drinks and my sis winded up getting a drink called Que Onda ☠️ ? wellllllllll let’s say that she almost ? passed out with just a tiny little sip!!!! That drink was so potent that she probably grew hair on her back haha… that’s was a 1/10 (to eachs own)I decided to get a Coconut Mojito ? and it was not at all a good mojito 3/10 I feel like they were just scrambling to put ingredients together and it was bad bad I had to return it.. Bruna tried to explain that the coconut was the same they used for the margarita but the difference from margarita and mojito was literally completely different in coconut..Bruna said that drinks can not be taken back because they would most likely not switch it for you.. I explained there was no way I was going to drink it and I needed it to be changed regardless… She was lovely and sent it back and replaced for a margarita BUT they still tasted similar so I kinda felt that they used part of the mojito for the margarita… my first drink was NOTHING compared to the last one..well at the end of it we got our bill and paid out $74 cause the tip is automatically included..Not sure if we would go back.. I see a lot of reviews here that are positive, maybe it was a bad day for us.. BUT maybe next time would be better..I always give a resturant the benefit of the doubt you just never know.. it could have been a bad day for us or the bartenders..
Loved the atmosphere and the vibe. Food was ok. Went for brunch and wanted to stay after our brunch time (90 minutes) but felt rushed. We were told that if we wanted to stay after our brunch time we had to find somewhere to stand because the seats were for eating guests. Totally understood but there should be a spot if you want to just drink and are willing to pay for more drinks. Since we couldn't really do this we ended up leaving but would have stayed of we could've and would've given 5 stars. Overall the place looks unique, fun and the music was great.
This place is really cute and the vibe is good but my server was a bit rude and short with us. The food wasn't the best but the drinks were great, plus we got there for happy hour! The music was great and my table laughed and joked for hours. We'd definitely go back hopefully we can get a more pleasant waiter.
I enjoyed the former restaurant but this one is even better. Each dish seems to be well thought out, I love the environment, the decor is spot on, and the rooftop is incomparable. I usually find parking but I know they have valet so that should be a relief.
My girlfriend and I Sloan went here for the first time since the pandemic! And omg wow! What an experience! Cassandra was amazing. She made us two margaritas that were bomb!!! She first made us a jalapeño spicy margarita that was the best I’d had. Secondly she made us a spicy pineapple mango marg! That’s a secret menu item now. Thanks Cassandra for making our experience one to remember. We will definitely be returning.
