Just went for drinks, which I thought was in the high side for what I would call a neighborhood/hole in the wall bar. $8 for a vodka soda. Is that what places are charging for well these days?I do have to say the burgers looked good. $12 for what looks like a half pound.I like these types of places and hope people support them.
I travel a lot for work and I am so glad I found this place as a lunch spot in the area. The food is good enough that I consider this place to almost be more of a restaurant than a bar (at least in terms of the food quality).The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the prices are decent. Couldn't ask for more from a bar tbh. If I still drank I would have loved to have a few drinks and a burger here.Plus the soundtrack that they play slaps (it's mostly post-grunge, and i vibe with that)
Truly the best burger in NJ!!! At least of all the places I have been... ? Great ambiance for everything, including the patrons and the Raging Bull memorabilia. Jack La Motta is alive and well inside Krug's.
Great local "dive" bar restaurant. Food is surprisingly really great bar food.The employee garlic shrimp was phenomenal. Our group mostly had burgers which looked incredible. I had the chicken sandwich with a side of buffalo sauce. The sauce was incredible.Onion rings and fries were really good, not greasy. Pickle was great!A definite go to
I order two items from the menu..The chicken finger and fries.This item had zero taste. Even if it was free, was not worth having.The burger was very good.The fries not that great..I would recommend the burger.
Krug’s has been on my bucket list for years. Picking up my son at Newark Liberty was the perfect chance to stop by. Like many others have said - superior burger. And, you get attentive and friendly service with cheap prices. You’re just not gonna find a better burger in the area.

They have a parking lot behind the bar/restaurant, but finding parking, especially on a Saturday, was a massacre. We had an awesome waiter, Caesar. Burgers were huge

cheesesteak, pastrami & burger were some of the best I've tried, their service sucks but the food was worth the hour we waited for our food
