This place was a last minute decision. Very fresh, great flavor, low on the salt and high on the oil, but worth every bite. Defintely recommend this place. Not an eat in location just a heads up. Will be back for summer outings!
Today is 3/15/22 and my meal was flawless! I ordered a catfish meal with Mac and yams for my husband, the fish is made to order and super fresh. I ordered sides of Mac, yams, collard greens, and potato salad. I’m weird about trying people’s potato and Mac salad but it was really good. All of the food was on point. My only complaint is…one of the young workers came on to his shift while I was there he instantly put on a smock and started to work, without washing his hands. Cleanliness is important but he didn’t manage my food so I had nothing to say. Oh and I had to suggest that holes get poked into the styrofoam platter to prevent the fish from getting soggy. Overall, great experience I’ll be back.

They must be under new management because the whiting sandwich I received was disgusting. It had bones everywhere and it tasted like fish fresh out the ocean fried in grease. I love black business but we gotta do better
Spent nearly $60 Beef Ribs and Red Velvet cake. The Beef Ribs the BBQ sauce was like poured on top and not baked properly. The rice and beans was watery and the Red Velvet Cake taste like box cake and the icing for $6.00. The front worker was cursing on the phone talking about the owner not paying her. Never again besides pricey wasted money. The Owner was yelling at the workers in the kitchen and looks like he hired young kids to cook. The rice and beans besides being watery the beans smells like its bad or old. I also hope they change the juices daily and fresh and not just sitting on the containers.
Here visiting from Atlanta and my goal was to find good food...and I did!!!Awesome portions, awesome price, awesome quality and awesome taste!!!
Firstly the food is good which is important however the décor of restaurant and cleanliness are as equally as important. Followed restaurant for years as the place and the establishment is trailing downward for some reason? Owner, lets do some upgrades if you can to the latest restaurant (floors, décor, walls, etc.) as you have a great product but restaurant needs some real TLC. Restaurant has too much history to trail backwards. You can do it my brother as it will pay off!
The food was so dry they didn’t put all my food the took to long I spent 58 dollars for a pan they only put scallops in my pan a lot I don’t eat that 1 crab leg that’s do disrespectful I will never go back there again so disappointed
Thanksgiving menu was great, fried Turkey, mac n cheese, greens and yams. Fried fish is delicious too but pieces too small for the price
Not only is the food Amazing, the staff is very accommodating, professional and friendly, and the owner is hands on his name is Gary , he’s amazing. Love the catfish sandwich, it’s well seasoned just right , not too greasy , good portion sizes and good reasonable prices. I highly recommend ❤️
