Great food, been a customer for over a decade. Shrimp salad sandwich with spinach on a roll is my fav..along with the beet lemon ginger juice...& a stax of lays...best lunch ever....

The corn beef panni which is call Jesus is amazing
Great sandwichs overall, however there is an agitating consitantcy issue.I typically get the same item and my last three visits have been wildly different despite ordering the same item. Issues such missing ingredients,dry bread,and general lack of attention to detail are very frustrating especially after having a great experience most of the time. I would love to update my review if my experience improves in the future.
I been coming to Kim's Halsey Deli for years. I have practically had everything on their menu from their sausage egg and cheese to their wings and tostones that's not on the menu. By far my favorite place to go if I'm in Newark. You get it all here from Kim's funny sarcasm to his lovely humble personality. Halsey Deli #1!
