This place never disappoints. I always make my own bowl with tuna minced and chunks. Presentation is always great.
I dont know why I keep trying with this place I only order it through doordash and can only speak through that experience.the last 3 times I ordered here have been yuck. This recent order they ran out of salmon....ok replace with shrimp that's fine. But then the salad looked like they mixed old salad with new salad. And my rice was mushy...a weird consistency that I can't explain and it was cold. All the other times I bought the omega bowl it was warm. For $17 this was totally not worth it...not even close.. Unfortunately I think im going to cross this off my list of go to restaurants. It's unfortunate because when I first discovered it, the food was amazing. But after 3 strikes in a row, it's a no for me. Wouldn't recommend.

The best poke bowl place in NJ! Fresh Coast has a wide variety of options for their bowls and always manages to be filling and satisfying. I’ve tried many other poke places, but Fresh Coast keeps me coming back. They also have a wide selection of delicious fruit and veggie based drinks/acai bowls. In one instance where an order didn’t meet my expectations the owner, Scott, made sure to make things right which I very much appreciated. The workers are very attentive and helpful as well. Will definitely keep coming back!

I think I made a mistake by ordering on New Year’s Day when they were clearly not busy. The fish tasted a little fishy and barely like tuna and was extremely firm, indicating that it was not fresh (but not yet spoiled). Also, the rice was both overcooked and mushy in spots and harder like it had been dried out in other spots. I ended up eating the toppings, masking the tuna with extra jalapeños I had at home, but I threw the rice away. I won’t be returning. It’s also weird that you can’t do BYO on their website even thought they offer it. I didn’t want to order through Uber and cost them the Uber fee, but I had to call in the order because I couldn’t place it online.

Great atmosphere and good selection of bowls. The food also tastes great as well! The only complaints I have is parking is a PIA (welcome to Jersey I guess) and they always seem to be out of something. First time I went it was large bowls, second time crab meat....other than that I'll still go back for a quality Poke bowl in the heart of Newark. They do it very well!
This place is my Favorite place to EAT!!!! The OWNER himself delivered my food to my house. I feel so special, that he decided to go out of his way to deliver my food to me. Thank you so much, I truly appreciate the Owner and his business. They have the best Fresh Food and I am grateful that I found this place.
The last time I went the young lady making my order was so slow to get to me I almost left. I was the only customer waiting to be serviced and I had to wait 10 minutes before she even acknowledged my presence. Next as she was making my food she had her gloves on but proceeded to move a large piece of her hair from in face and then with that same hand dug into the raw ingredients for my shrimp ? bowl. I didn't say anything because I had waited so long to be seen to make her do it again, because to me the salad was now contaminated, would have been another 20 minute ordeal. She had zero sense of urgency and moved with pace of mamed animal. I absolutely love the product they serve but they need a staff that doesn't cross contaminate food and moves with actual urgency so you don't lose customers.
