Fornos always has such a great menu selection. Our food was great and we canât wait to return and try other items on the menu. Only complaint would be âtoo much service.â Felt like the staff was constantly refilling glasses and literally hovering over us. Donât want to be ignored, but it can be overdone.
Always amazing food. The seafood Paella with sqid ink rice was delicious! The service is attentive and friendly. Noise level is quite loud due to so many groups and it ads to festive ambience. I went for a business dinner and so it was a bit difficult to talk.

I had high hopes going in but left extremely disappointed. We only ordered entrees and they took 55 min to come out. Several tables arrived after us and received their food before we did. We started asking ~40 min in and the waiter just said itâll come. When it finally came there was no apology or explanation for what happened. The food itself was ok but I expected it to be better. When we finally finished and got our check, it was wrong and we were charged for drinks from another table. It took 3 attempts to fix the check and wasted another 20 min of our time. Next time Iâm dining in Newark, I will look elsewhere.
We were a bit disappointed w food quality. Was expecting more authentic Spanish food but the paella tasted like rice from a Goya package. Servers were good, restaurant was cute but food was less desirable
