I recently just left this establishment because their extremely rude. I stood on a line by myself for 5 mins and it was at least 5 workers behind the counter. Not one said hello, give me a min, or anything. I had to walk out because what kind of service is that. I was literally just standing there and you would have thought I was invisible.
The food is fresh could use some more favor in the beans but chicken is awesome and the service is excellent. They do have other varieties of food to eat and at night they have different things for customers to enjoy for fun.
El Merengue has delicious food, there’s usually always music playing when I go. I usually order take out, make sure you make it known that you are ready to order, otherwise other people will be served first. The pernil, arroz con gandules and veggie salad are amazing.
Food was gross, and cold. And old. We had to get patted down to order take out also which was annoying and odd. Overpriced and the music was so loud I couldn’t even hear my own thoughts. I left with a headache and stomachache. Don’t bother.
Lively atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming and the food was great!

It smelled like vomit in there. The staff is not friendly. They want a tip, but forget how to be polite and kind to All customers.
Came here with the family ? love it .They take care of you fast. Food has flavor and their a bar inside the the restaurant. My place to bring friends.
