Celebrated my daughters college graduation from William Patterson University here and the entire celebration was amazing. We enjoyed the food and service Immensely! Kevin was a joy and we appreciate his charisma and service! He was outstanding! Thank you so much for making the experience so enjoyable!
If you visit Newark, do yourself a favor & get a wonderful meal from Chateau of Spains. The food is always perfect. You get a nice portion of whatever you get. I had the garlic chicken cutlet with yellow rice & Spanish fries. It comes with shrimp as well. I added a nice glass of red sangria. Don't let my picture fool you. I was on the Amtrak train. My meal was perfect!!!
The service was the worst I’ve had since coming here.First off he wasn’t attentive at all.I had to ask for silverware which is something I should’ve gotten the minute I ordered by food.I waited at the bar for15minutes-20minutes before he acknowledged me sitting at the bar .He gave another lady a menu who sat down after me before he even gave me one.He didn’t pour my drink in a rock glass rather filled up a shot glass with ice .Rung me up for Spanish fries when I said I wanted regular fries.Didn’t apologize for his error which prohibited meFrom eating my food right away .Food getting cold and waitingHe didn’t apologize about the wait.Definitely won’t sit at the bar when he works.Bartender JosueHe was the worse bartender I had.
The food was delicious with the exception of the rolls... How do you bring out cold rolls with cold butter and say you don't heat/ warm the rolls? Never have I ever heard of that... The sangria was watered down... I'm not a drinker and it didn't even give me a buzz... lol

The food was ok. The grill chicken salad The chicken was dry small amt of tomato. The appetizer combo had very small amt of items for price. The Sangria wasn't sweet at all. The bartender was nice trying to help me with it.
I was kinda disappointed in my Calamari. It was a bit chewy, and you could the artificial in the product. My drink had waaayyyyy too much sugar. I ordered a pineapple long Island and was given a peach/pineapple long Island. I kept it because I'm not a fan of sending items back. My fiance had wings. He said they were ok at best. My fajita was very good! I would go back. I'd just be careful and not order the over priced items as you are not really getting what you are paying for.
Food, drinks, service and portions were very good. Brittney was especially kind and helpful. Was perfect spot for pre Prudential Center show.
Ordered a salad last week for pick up. The website specifically stated what was included. However when I picked up the order and got back to the office, everything was not included plus the roll was stale!?Until the manager take the complaints and negative reviews seriously and do something about them, I (a long time customer) will not visit the restaurant again any time soon.On a positive note, the ladies at the front counter were very courteous.
