Terrible experience, went to celebrate a graduation we were a party of 12. When we went to order we were informed we could not mix the All You Can Eat BBQ and Mixed Platter, even though no where on the menu does it state you cannot order both on one table. We even offered to split the tables and tabs so that everyone could order what they wanted and the manager refused to accommodate. At that point we were just disappointed and our graduation celebration spoiled, the food was okay we just didn’t get to order what each would have liked.
I was told about the place that is a nice place to eat. I went with my wife to check the place up only to be disappointed. The vegetables they have for their customers is stale vegetables and not fresh. I have to ask them for new vegetable. The beef is very salty, that could trigger someone with hypertension. The restaurant needs to work on her menu and have fresh food for their customers. They need to get a good barman who knows his or her onions. The drink was zero, could not drink it. The salad was the best. Did I get value for my money, the answer is capital NO.
The food was really good. The waitress was a bit odd though: They have a rule against sharing when you buy the all you can eat rodizio, so she stared at everyone at our table almost nonstop making sure none of us shared any food amongst each other. I get why she did that but it was a bit over-the-top and made us all feel uncomfortable.
First time Brazilian steakhouse experience. The very first thing that bothered me was, all the meat, all you can eat is $36, but it's $40 for excluding pork!!! It's like getting punished for eating less variety?!The salad/non meat bar had rice so old that it almost had a rotten smell. In terms of meat we were offered grilled chicken legs, chicken liver, beef short ribs, top sirloin, beef kabobs, and lamb. Chicken legs were the best thing they served. It was tender, juicy, and tasty. All the other meat, especially kabobs was so tough to chew. Probably could use a few more minutes of cooking! When it came to the bill, we got charged $4 for not paying with cash, like WTH. Neither we are in the 1980s, nor this is a small business that we have to pay penalties for paying with a credit card!Overall, an okay experience. While walking out of the restaurant my husband was asking if we would come back to Brasilia, I told him you have to put a gun on my head! ?
I wish I could have given them a negative 100. I just went to this place to eat and the chicken was very under cooked. I sat there for about 10mins waiting for the server who paid me no mind. I saw another girl and requested the manager when he came with all the food still on the plate untouched except the piece of chicken I tasted, he told me I should have said something. How the hell was I to say something before biting into the piece of chicken. I paid the bill because I was not going to argue with anyone about their nasty uncooked food. I came outside to my car and started vomiting like crazy. So her I paid for uncooked food that made me sick. This is ridiculous. NASTY FOOD. VERY NASTY.
I used to like this place a lot but it semms to have fallen off post covid. I've been about 4 times since COVID (I don't live in the area) and I've been less than satisfied. They're no longer offering the buffet with the rodizio which is fine but their meat selection and quality has gone down. And dishes outside of the rodizio are not that impressive. Staff is always super friendly though.
Haven’t eaten here before but have at the one by ferry street many years ago, not sure if same owners.I live quite far and was in the area so I decided to treat the family to one of my favorite restaurants from the past( I believed it to be the same).Ordered take out and was very disappointed.Everything was real dry and blah. Salad was just tomato and iceberg lettuce.Maybe it wasn’t that tasty due to being takeout??Employees were very nice and a pleasant place.$54 dollars for 2person dinner and there was a lot of food.unfortunately not much was eaten.
At $36 a person for all you can eat rodizio, the price is right for teenage boys. However, the meats lacked flavor and some were over cooked. There is also a salad bar with beets, beans, plantains, fries, etc avail for the all you can eat diners.
the food was pretty good, i wish there were more options, like something sweet but overall good value
Save yourself the trip to this place!!! Honestly been coming here for quite some years but with time it has only lead to more and more dissatisfaction and disappointment!! If I could honestly give the 0 starts or negative starts I would. Today I came here for dinner and decided to give this place another try. The girls at the bar are actually nice and helpful. But everyone working in the kitchen, oh god PLEASE HELP THEM!!! SPECIALLY THE ONES WORKING THE GRILL AND THE MANAGER. After waiting for close to 2 hours for a piece of skirt steak and being asked multiple times by the bartenders if I had gotten anything, I finally received the food. Steak was cooked awful, it was supposed to be a medium rare and this guy brought a whole piece of medium well steak. Honestly at this point I’m pretty annoyed by the amount of time it has taken to get our food served to us and to not get the order right. When asked to speak to the manager he reassured me the steak was medium rare while I clearly pointed out why and how it was not. He was condescending and plainly rude. PLEASE DON’T ADDRESS YOUR CUSTOMERS AS SWEETIE JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE WOMEN!! Needles to say we asked for the check. So SAVE YOUR MONEY! GO TO A BETTER PLACE, PLENTY HERE IN NEWARK TO REPLACE THIS “want to be grill” !!
