When I went to Bloomfield Avenue BBQ place I was amazed I thought it would be messy but when I was in there it smelled like good food!!! Tasted like good food the bathroom was amazing it was not dirty and when you have to do a number 2 and it smells the have a spray that smells so good I can tell it is a 10/10.
We ordered, 3 platters, for Mother's Day. Everything was delicious! Had so much, we took some home & made plates, to take, to work
Heard about this spot from JL Jupiter (YouTuber) & several people I know and I finally decided to go try it out. Drove from Harlem all the way to Newark hoping that it was worth the drive, gas and tolls.. and tbh, it was indeed worth the trip ! I could smell the bbq as soon as I parked. The staff was very nice and the food was served as per my pics. The wait time was about 20 minutes due to it being Mother's Day, and it was crowded, but the staff got it done. Word of advice... the portions are IMPRESSIVE. I ordered two of the half ribs, half chicken with rice and fries.. and it was more than enough for 4-5 people ! The food...... was FANTASTIC !!!! Well cooked and nice bbq smoke. Not overdone with sauce to cover up the true flavors. As for pricing.. it is very reasonable for what you get. Don't hesitate to stop by !
I dont know what happen today but we ordered from this place and it was not good. The ribs where so dry and didnt even had meat on them. The chicken was so dry and no meat at all.It was a dissapointment . If i could give a zero star i would.
Great food and even better prices. Full platter of pork ribs with ff and rice is $20. It is cash only though so make sure you bring cash.
First time back in 10 years since I moved away from NJ, I brought back all those memories, completely loved it. Great food and great service. 10/10 would recommend

By far, the best Chusquerria on the Ave...Not too pricey and very good food for the prices...Its very popular, unlike (cough cough Justin's) Dine in service is fast and efficient, Thank You!
