I went to Namli because it was recommended by one of my friends who had gone there prior. I loved that there was plenty of parking in the back around lunchtime because I used to go to rutgers and know how hard it is to find parking in new brunswick. we started with the mixed cold app platter (not pictured) with came with four cold appetizers (we got baba ghanoush, eggplant with sauce, ezme and tzaziki sauce) and fresh pita bread. as someone who had been to greece, it had such a similiar feel to greek food, very fresh and not too overpowering in flavor (which is hard to come by in the US-its very easy to tell the difference!) my friend and i also split the lamb kebab with yogurt (which came out shortly after) and wow. the lamb was perfectly tender and the yogurt was a perfect cooling effect. i was a little hesitant to order lamb because its expensive but it was worth it! not only that, but all of our dishes were so beautifully presented and came out quick--i had a good handful of people reach out to me on instagram asking where i was!we finished with the turkish tea (we had ordered the turkish coffee but didn't mind the mixup since we were enjoying ourselves) and it came in the cutest cups. it was $36 for each of us (including tax and tip), but so worth it. the owner was also very bubbly and super friendly! i will def be coming back again the next time im in new brunswick! probably one of the best greek restaurants ive been to :)
EXCEPTIONAL FOOD, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE! If you’re looking for delicious Turkish food in the New Brunswick area, Namli is the place to go. Reasonable prices for some of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever had. The first photo is the lamb shish kebab with yogurt which was incredibly tender and seasoned to perfection. The second photo is the small mixed appetizer plate featuring tzatziki, ezme, roasted eggplant, and baba ghanoush. What an awesome combination of flavors. The atmosphere is great here and the owners are great people. 100/10!!!!
Great food, good service. the owner is very accommodating and she sings… what moreCan you ask for?? Get over to Namli and have the best Mediterranean cuisine in the county.

This is a hidden gem in New Brunswick , NJAmazing fresh food and great service. From appetizer to dessert it’s all good…. It’s a BYOB
Absolutely fantastic. The food is delicious and fresh, they give you this great starter called Mama's sauce with warm pita. The owners are so nice and attentive to your needs.
I was finally able to try this place out and so glad we did. Me and my husband enjoyed it . Very cute little spot the owners and staff are super friendly and attentive. They have a fairly decent space but would definitely recommend a reservations if you have more than 4 people in your party. We started off with a small sampler plate of appetizers and then went with combo platter for two which had rice, chicken, lamb , beef a side of salad which was just enough for the two of us and we were able to take some home. I would definitely give this place a try if you haven’t. The flavors are delicious, meats are cooked to perfection still juicy all kinds of flavors going on . I ordered some baklava to go and that was so good!!
Came here and the service was prompt, food tasty, fresh and with generous portion sizes. The restaurant also was clean and spacious, with a nice ambiance and clean bathrooms. I enjoyed the food, cold appetizers pita bread and spread, and kebabs. Pricy, but would definitely recommend, I had a great experience here.
I give 2 stars because the lady at the counter was working very hard to be friendly and hospitable. The food however, gosh, this was not Turkish food, it was just blah. I am surprised to see these 4 and 5 stars. Have you ever had real Turkish food? Obviously not. The rice was just boiled in the water and Kabobs had no taste and were very dry......... Not worth it at all, over priced and demand high tips even for pick up. For the owners of the restaurant, please get real and add some taste to your food, even if you cannot make it as tasty as Turkish food.
Really excellent food; we got the mixed appetizer platter and everything on it was great, so flavorful with very fresh ingredients. Very quaint atmosphere and good prices for what you're getting. Can't wait to go back!
