Soy garlic wings are pure sugar syrup not a taste of soy nor garlic, crunchy wings but flavor is lacking. Truffle fries barely smell nor taste the truffle oil
So I visited this restaurant recently. My first time trying Korean BBQ. Wasn't sure what to get so I decided to keep it simple with some chicken wings. They were good. The place was clean. The service was decent. I'd like to try again and be a bit more adventurous with the different foods. My only criticism would be staff should wear hair nets. And use gloves when preparing the food that is up front behind the glass.
Ordered a custom bowl for $12.79 and I can say that it is not worth it given the price. I had high hopes given its rating and that its the only Korean food you can find on campus.One issue with my bowl was that my order was incomplete and was missing an item.However, the big issue was that it was too saucy. I ordered 2 sauces expecting a light drizzle of each but I was wrong and it seems like they used 2 whole bottles on my order. By doing this, all you could taste was sauce and I ended up taking the toppings off and just making my own rice at home and putting the toppings on that. Its a shame that I threw away their rice but too much sauce ruined it.
I've been ordering from this place for a long time and over time I've seen a steady reduction in food portion - smaller containers, less food, same price. My order notes are frequently missed, and I'm tired of it. I won't be ordering from here ever again, and recommend everyone else follow suit.
It's like chipotle of Korean food I think. Food is tasty, portions are generous and prices are good.
Great fulfilling bowls. Staff is very nice. The kbg bowl and the kato style is the best by far.
My server was very nice and earnest and helpful, and the food was great!! Also, the portion size is awesome for the price ??

We ordered take out, Spicy Chicken Bibimbap and Make your own Spicy Pork Bibimbap. Its like Korean take on Chipotle style and I loved it. The Chicken and Pork both were good. The portion was ample. The only thing for one less star is I wish both the chicken and pork were spicy as mentioned or they had some sort of hot sauce.
Tried this place because of the good reviews and I'm extremely underwhelmed. This is how my Soondobu soup arrived with the container cracked in. Since there were plastic pieces inside the soup I had to trash it without even eating it. The bowl I ordered also had the wrong rice (ordered Kimchi fried rice but got brown rice). Tried it with the wrong rice and it is extremely watery. The only part of the order that was correct was the fried chicken which did not have much of the garlic soy. It was just a fried drumstick with no sauce. Really disappointed with this order.
