The food is excellent and the staff very friendly, just be sure to call ahead. The internet says it's open all day but the kitchen takes a break between breakfast and lunch so a ten-thirty brunch could be dicey.
got the burger here after working in the hotel and stayed overnight. burger was dry and overcooked and onions were barely cooked in my burger just overall not that great. can't speak for anything else on the menu but if y'all can't get a burger right, i don't hold out on much else
Arrived as couple, ask for booth. Taken to table, nextcouple behind us ask for booth and was take to booth we pointed out. Menu limited with no buffet as described in online advertisement. Food was nothing special and a little over priced. My hash browns were warm on outside, cool/cold on inside. Wife had the blueberry pancakes which "pancakes".

My wife and I passed by on a Friday with our dog. They have tables set out outside the main entrance of the Hyatt Hotel with a bar and grill. The food is fantastic and fairly priced, it is mostly barbeque and some standard grill items. The staff is super friendly and kept bringing over water for our super thirsty dog. Did I mention it's pet friendly? Because it's pet friendly. They even had frozen treats for dogs.
This place always delivers. They serve good dishes for affordable prices, there is no waiting time even when they are loaded.

As someone who works in the neighborhood, I have a love/hate relationship with Glass Woods Tavern's. I love Glass Woods Tavern's Hash (and some of the other breakfast dishes), though sometimes the service is slow while other times the food is undercooked. Stick with breakfast items and you'll be ok.
