Yesterday was my first time at this place and I ordered a Tex Mex bowl. I was excited to try out a new place that had great reviews online, but I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The black beans were mashed up and dry, and the overall meal tasted bland. Otherwise, the service was good and I didn’t have to wait a long time. Will I visit this place again? Maybe if I’m in need of a quick meal while on campus, but with reservations.
The Mediterranean bowl was very delicious! And the staff was so sweet. I highly recommend going for lunch!
I went here a little while ago. I’m a rutgers student on cook/Douglass and this place is very close by and they’re very quick! The person at the register was super nice and they even gave me a free lemon ginger shot as a new customer! I ordered the fiesta burrito and it was super delicious. Definitely will be coming again and I recommend it!
Was craving something healthy so I decided to try this place and honestly, was NOT disappointed. I did the Build your own and it was one of the best things ive had for lunch in awhile. Everything tasted fresh and was full of flavor. I will be ordering from here many many many more times. Amazing :)

Healthiest food place in New Brunswick! But doesn’t taste like plain meh healthy food, it is absolutely delicious!! I would rather eat here than eat anywhere in NB because the food is fresh, sauces are well seasoned and yummy with great portion sizes! I got the bamboo bowl and that was to die for!! I also got some energy bars from the place which, at first, I didnt know if they would be good, but they blew my mind! Seriously guys! The customer service was also phenomenal and the girl at the cash register was extremely sweet, personable and helpful. We became friends right then and there. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
Amazing customer service, I can see this becoming a consistent study spot for me and my friends.The gentleman working the front had accidentally made the wrong item for me, but he refunded and offered to remake it for me.On top of that, we were also given free energy bites since we were first time customers.Seriously a great place, it deserves more business.
I’ve been a big fan of this place for a long time, one of my favorites. Food is amazing and the staff have been super friendly and nice every time I’ve been there. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because of their operating hours. Today was my 4th time in the past 2 weeks or so attempting to go to Freshii on my lunch break. Everytime I go they’re closed but on Google it says they’re open or the hours listed are different when you get there (opening at 12 not 11). I understand I can call ahead but sometimes when I get caught up with work things the first thing on my mind is to just go there and grab something quick and leave. I really do love this place, but I suggest they start hiring more people or something because it hasn’t been reliable for me which is important on a limited lunch break.
