I never write reviews but I had to after the poor experience I had with edo on June 21st. We ordered our food and not only were items missing like avocados, eggs and utensils, our orders themselves were completely wrong. My brother’s vegetarian meal had meat in it, causing him to get sick before realizing his tofu was actually chicken, my friend’s food had random non ordered dumplings, and my own food barely filled the bowl for the outrageous price. None of us are ordering from this place again as they’ve shown their inability to listen to orders and provide adequately sized portions for their prices.
I got a white Tuna roll and a Lobster Roll and I thought they were great. Friendly cashier. I would recommend this place if you want sushi.
Amazing restaurant, Chef Jun locks it ⬇️, can't wait to come back. "FAT CUP", for the win, check out his awesome menu.
Wish I could give 0 stars. I got the ramen. My boyfriend got the udon. There was no flavor, the smallest piece of meat (that smelled as if it was old) and not enough broth for the noodles. (My boyfriend got too much broth, makes no sense). Nothing was labeled.A complete waste of money I would enjoy a packet of ramen better.Edit: less than an hour later I was in the bathroom with stomach pain.FROM 3 BITES! Please.. please … don’t see the pricing and think you’re getting a good deal. Just over in edison is a beautiful selection of Japanese food. You’re getting garbage. I feel disrespected.
The whole family loves the Ramen and Edo Bowls, but the Udon is the #1 hit!! Great food!! Sushi is very good too!
Not super authentic or anything, but good for a quick bite and hangout
The food was so good. I got the Korean BBQ with white rice fat cup. It was a rather large portion. Great for a nice quick hot meal that is somewhat healthier and doesn't break the bank. Also the murals on the walls inside and outside the restaurant are so cool
A bit of a hole in the wall, but not bad really. I had the tonkotsu ramen and the broth and noodles were excellent. Noodles were chewy and flavored really well with the broth that was not too salty and had great texture. The egg in my ramen was completely hard boiled though and sulfur-y, rather than the typical soft boiled egg you get with ramen. The pork was tasty and well cooked but a little small. Overall, not bad and I would definitely visit again to try out their other offerings.
The Edo fries are the best snack for late nights and the sushi is just amazing, especially the crunchy munchy roll! Also isn’t as crowded as other place and would 12/10 recommend!!
I took a bite right after I received my udon and dragon bowl. But the food was cold. Over priced and small proportions. I will never visit this place again. I don't usually give 1 star but this place definitely deserve it.
