Wedding anniversary
I was very disappointed by Clydz. Pre-Covid, with the old more adventurous menu, we really loved this spot! The new menu, however, is underwhelming and most of what we ordered was mediocre. Charcuterie board app was blah - salumi, three cheeses, some gherkins and some crostini which were stale (not toasty, but hard and crumbly); pork belly tacos were a soggy mess. The duck confit gnocchi was a bright spot - delicious, creamy and well cooked. Cocktails were great, and our waitress was absolutely lovely. I'd come back for a drink at the bar no question, but there's too many great spots for food in New Brunswick to eat at Clydz again.
Second time at Clydz and very happy with the experience overall. Food is very good, eclectic options, well presented, tasty. Ambience is good, cozy. Service very attentive.
Great atmosphere, a New Brunswick treasure. Bobbie our server was pleasant and attentive. We ordered appetizers and cocktails, all were very tasty !
Great drinks & good appetizers
Food and drinks were fabulous! From appetizers to dessert-delicious!
This restaurant used to be our go to, about 5 years ago. Now it smells awful throughout the restaurant, itâs literally unbearable. Very sad.
Amazing drinks and good appetizers, service is fairly decent as well. Entrees are NOT good, almost inedible. Overall will come again to the bar section for drinks and appetizers, do dinner somewhere else, food is not good.
Nice atmosphere great food and service
A hole in the wall with a lot of interior personality. It’s dark and cozy with attentive staff. I’ve dined once and sat at the bar twice. The menu had some exotic items. I love that on my last two visits, the bartenders had set aside the shaker they used to make my drink so they can use the extra to refill my martini glass. My boyfriend had his water glass refilled by the bartender many times when he was feeling nauseous from trying my friend’s nicotine pouch. The bartender was quick to notice my bf’s empty glass and would refill expeditiously. It was like he was genuinely concerned. A+ customer service.
