Excellent service . Fabulous food. Great, fun , atmosphere !!!
Great food, but slow getting it to you :)
went to Prospectors for their buffet today. What a rip-off. They doubled the normal price to $29.99 per person. That's not my main complaint half of the things on the advertised menu were not available, no sausage or turkey sausage no cheese blintz no country fried steak no Belgium waffles, and no omelet bar, the food trays were down to nothing or empty...the fruit was not ripe honeydew and cantaloupe hard as a rock no taste. The desserts were brownies ( EMPTY TRAY) and eclair. They even charged for a cup of coffee. Our waiter said they are going under and believe me I can see why. Never again will I go on a holiday, To not enjoy their over-priced food and false menu.
Absolutely awesome decor and atmosphere!Meals are tasty and cooked perfectly to order. Bread arrives at the table almost too hot to handle, with sweet butter. The included soup and salad are almost stand alone meals that could be shareable. The salad with crispy onions was so tasty, did not need salad dressing! The steak entrees are well proportioned but not large enough for take home, if that's your thing. I am taking away 1 star from what would have been a rare 5 stars review because my New York Strip Cowboy Steak was a little tough. Over all great meal. The location is directly off busy Rt 38 near busy intersection with merge lane, advise caution enter/exit. Plenty of parking, but the place has so much going on it definitely could be a drive around the parking lot looking for a spot. Handicap parking and handicap friendly building. This place is huge! Need multiple visits to review all! There is a outside lounge, restaurant area, bar/saloon and a dance/concert hall. Bang! Not many places like this around that I know of!IMO Respectfully
1st time dining at Prospector's Steakhouse & Saloon. The Bartenders Nicole & Shannon were extremely friendly and went above & beyond with our food order & beverages. The manager Tony Romeo made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. I live in Pennsylvania & is absolutely worth the short drive!
Took the family for a nice dinner out last night. After waiting 40 minutes, when we were told 15 minutes…we were sat. Apparently the waiter, Mike, that we had was given a big party at the same time we were sat. So we were told. We saw him three times in the hour and 45 minutes we were there. We waited extremely long for our drinks. Then my husband got his dinner/Caesar salad and needed dressing and we couldn’t find the waiter. All the lettuce was brown. When dinner finally came…. I had ordered a salad for dinner. All of the lettuce was brown. I didn’t touch it. My husband got Cajun chicken pasta, it looked like it sat in the kitchen too long. It was all dried up. All four of us left our full dinners behind. He didn’t even inquire as to why we didn’t eat the food. Spent 160.00 and had to take the family too McDonald’s before our movie. Terrible!!!!! Even more disappointed that there isn’t a way on their website to directly reach someone regarding our experience.
Their Sunday brunch is back, nice buffet style brunch with eggs bacon sausage cream chip beef biscuits freshly made waffles omelet station corned beef hash grits toast everything. Great selection of beers great bar menu great dinner menu always have a nice time there nice outdoor seating too.
If we weren't with other people, we would have walked out from the very beginning. Right after we walked in, there were three staff members who totally ignored us. We had never been there before (and will never return). The greeter was with great attitude when I asked him if he had a booth for five people. Everyone else said it was ok for a table. Then the greeter wants to place us between two large groups of people and when I motioned a different table, he was upset, lazily walked over to us, tossed the menu's on the table and proceeded to communicate with other staff members in an unfamiliar language (other than English or Spanish). Then (after a long wait) the waiter comes out (Michael) and we had to ask for everything. Soup gets delivered and it's not what we asked for, no utensils, and no crackers. This should give you an idea how our afternoon/early evening went. Bottom line, very expensive place to eat, if you have money to blow and don't mind being mistreated then by all means, knock your socks off. There's so much more that happened that day but not enough space to write it all down.
Came here looking to have a few good drinks while we snacked on appetizers. Not sure if the bartender is told to just wave the bottle over the glass or not but, the drinks were weak and that’s giving the benefit of the doubt. Food was enjoyable, had the nachos supreme, but then again not much to spoil here. Wouldn’t order mixed drinks here again would stay with a beer in a bottle! Added note Mr. “pretty boy” who is behind the host station is anything but a host and needs an attitude adjustment if he stays working with the public. The stick that is buried “you know where” on this guy, needs to be surgically removed.
Have been going to brunch here for about 5 years it was always excellent, we went today and i don’t think we will ever be back. We were so disappointed today. Food on the buffet was cold even the “fresh”Trays they brought out were cold. Best part was the made to order omelets. Not worth the $$ or our time. I even told our waiter about the food temp and nothing changed. Very dissatisfied
