Lets start with the staff and service which was 5 Star. The person who showed us to our seat was extremely pleasant and our server was great. The food came out fast and the order was correct.The adult beverages were also a 5 star, the beer was ice cold and my wife had a strawberry margarita which was very good.Now for the food - 3 stars at best. The Birria Tacos were on the dry side and the dipping sauce was very greasy. The Birria Tacos were served with a side of rice and refried beans, both were very bland.The chicken fajitas were underwhelming with little flavor. Prices seemed a little high considering the overall quality of the food.
Placed order online. Arrived at designated time. No one was at the counter and no one came to the counter for more than 10 minutes. (I saw other people, a party of 3 walk out after waiting at an unattended hostess station). The pickup area was enough that I won’t visit again, if that little area can be that dirty I would not want to see the kitchen.The girl that brought my order out was pleasant, this is not a reflection on the “workers” this is a reflection on the management or mismanagement.Food was decent, but not good enough to overlook the other deficiencies.
Potentially the worst experience ever. From the beginning, restaurant didn’t even look open, service, cleanliness, food, plants with pounds of dust on them,to everything you can think of. Rude staff, cold food, needed to practically beg for something as simple as napkins (which we never got) . Wont be back to this location, ever. Seems to be a trend here with all the recent 1 star reviews. Maybe new management can fix things ?♂️
This was our first time at On the Border and we loved it! Our waiter Sarah was phenomenal. So nice she made sure we had everything thing we needed and was so quick with our drinks and food! Will definitely be going back.
Waiter was super pleasant, forgot his name (terrible memory I'm sorry)! But he was a tall and thin gentleman, and super professional and friendly!!! Was obviously working super hard and still being extremely kind and offering exceptional service ! Food was delicious, had no complaints my first or this visit! Everything came out in a timely manner even as the dinner rush began and was cooked to perfection! Definitely recommend the fajitas and the rice and beans that come with the dishes are some of my favorites I've experienced! Will for sure be back, thank you again to our waiter for the great service! ??

The food and service were very good. Staff did a good job at handling a busy day even though they were understaffed. A thumbs up for sure.1/25 had a 22nd visit for a takeout order placed online. Wow! So many staff not wearing masks, and the hostess was very confused about my picking up an order. She sent me to the back (I had to walk through the restaurant - not my first choice with a pick-up order in the middle of a pandemic - three times! When no one was in the back (and I wanted and called out for help) I returned to the front to get assistance from the hostess. She was dumbfounded and had no idea what to do next. I suggested the find a manager if she didn't know what to do. The manager had me go to the back AGAIN!!!! And he brought out my food. The woman who was supposed to be at that station showed up confused. I tried getting out but she kept saying - what happened - what is this - forcing me to respond, in front of the manager, that I was back there, waiting and calling out for a few minutes and she was not there. The whole thing was miserable and I won't order online ever again.
Hello good people. I want to start off this review with something positive. This restaurant is kid friendly and the staff were very nice. As far as the food the shrimp tacos were cold so I sent them back. The waitress was very nice and she apologized for the cold food. The waitress was so nice and she rushed my order of fish tacos. Unfortunately the fish tacos taste like frozen cod fish rectangles that was taken out of a box and placed in a deep fryer. When you rush while you are cooking, the meal will taste rushed if that makes sense. Sidenote, the Mercedes margarita were on point.
