A great local eatery that supports their local farms and markets! Alex and Cindy were really knowledgeable and attentive while serving us and we had a great time. The food was amazing and you can tell the chefs put great care into making sure everyone had a taste of the starters also and everything was amazing. Would definitely come here again and try anything and everything they have.

Som of the best sandwich and salad duo I've ever had. Came here after pumpkin picking one sunny fall day and it was such a yummy experience I'm here a year later telling you GO TRY!My salmon BLT was amazing my kale caesar ohhh myy gosh Y U M. Their pumpkin soup and ice teas were delish too.. Everything we all had made us smile in satisfaction

This restaurant is our new favorite!! The dishes are different and delicious! We had appetizers, main course, and dessert with lattes and all of it was probably the best we ever had! The service was excellent and our waitress was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

south+pine never disappoints for dinner. Even when the restaurant is extremely busy, the wait staff is always incredibly kind and attentive. Every dish is perfectly crafted with a unique flavor profile. We’ve tried different entrees each visit and have been beyond satisfied every time. After numerous visits of eyeing the burger, I finally ordered it and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to a perfect medium and topped with an egg and their signature bacon aioli. I would definitely order again, if I’m craving an upscale burger experience. If you’re in need of starter suggestions, the lamb meatballs, chicken lollipops, and black kale salad are all delicious. In terms of entrees, I really believe that you can’t choose wrong. The menu changes seasonally and has yet to disappoint. Finally, the restaurant is BYOB, so be sure to pick up your favorite bottle of wine prior to dining.

My boyfriend and I came to South+pine for dinner. We saw a TikTok about this restaurant being one of the top ones in NJ. The atmosphere of the place was pleasing, the service was ok (could have been improved by making sure we got all our utensils and to check on us) their drinks are pretty good, my partner had the Pomegranate Lemonade and I had the Cucumber Mint Cooler. This it’s the part where we get disappointed, for starters we got the Chicken Lollipops (The taste of the chicken from the outside was amazing, until we get to the center plain steamed white chicken) then, for main we both got the Local Prime Hanger ( The steak had to flavor at all, it was just plain. The fries were just plain as well. Where’s the flavor?

Very good food. Music playing was nice. The servers were Good. A bit pricey but it's worth it for the well presented food with excellent flavors. It may be the farm to table type cooking - we really enjoyed it. BYOB. The atmosphere is neat as well.

Great food and service. You can being your own bottle if you like.

My husband and I have come here since the restaurant opened. We loved it. During the height of covid, things seems to be a little different, but we wanted to be supportive. Now that indoor is open in full, we came back. Unfortunately, it’s not the same restaurant. Portions have shrunk drastically and prices have shot up considerably. If you order “ shorties” for your order of short ribs, I think it’s reasonable to expect at least two of them. ONE short rib on a small mound of potatoes for the price was a surprise. Roasted prawns were just ok, but not for $36. And then there’s the extra fee for using a credit card. Service was just ok. Staff pleasant enough, but not for what your paying on a special night. a little attention would go a long way. Food just got dropped on your table and they ran. We are very empathetic to the challenges restaurants have faced since covid began. We’ve supported many of them. We wish that restaurants kept in mind that going out to dinner is a splurge for a lot of us. If they need to raise prices, then make up for it in quality or service.

I wanted so badly to leave a five star review here because the food was absolutely delicious! However, after paying our $190 bill with a credit card, they returned with the merchant copy to be signed for $198. The waitress, noting my confusion, quickly pointed out a credit card fee that is explained on the bottom of menu and receipt. Like most, I would have never noticed this (nor have I seen it before in other establishments). Suggestion: If you would have simply raised the prices of your dishes by a dollar, I would have unknowingly and happily paid the price and it would have been far less insulting than seeing this $8 fee added to our bill after paying and then insinuating we should have noticed it earlier.

Very good food and service. I had the steak and my colleague a chicken BLT. Both were top notch. Great fries too. The place was a bit crowded for Covid.
