We came for lunch and were told the main Rodâs dining room was closed, but the pub was opened we had lunch their. The menu was different. I was disappointed.
We chose the restaurant because we are staying at the hotel and the menus looks good. The overall experience was very good. The good was well prepared and the portions were generous. The initial service was very good but got a little slow at the end. We waited a long time before the check arrives after we finished our coffee.
Attractive old style restaurant with very good food and reasonable prices. Service was not up to par, however. We were rushed, told the kitchen was closing and we were running out of time to order. Also I asked for the wine list and the waiter never came back to ask what I wanted. The restaurant was also mostly empty so it wasnât as if he was busy.
Welcoming hostess, waiters were wonderful and the food delicious!
