Half margherita pizza no basil half margherita with basil and mushrooms. So good! The kids loved the half with no basil and mushrooms and my husband and I loved the other half! And the chicken scampi with penne was sooo delicious and fresh! Very light and refreshing lemony dish (not too lemony but it was perfectly cooked). I’ll definitely order that again. I’m wondering if I could order the chicken scampi over spinach?!
First time trying the food here on a pickup order. The food was ready in a timely 20 minutes. I ordered a large grandma's pie and a calzone. The pie was not what I expected as traditionally the dough is thick. Pomodoro makes a very thin crust pie. I liked both the flavor of the sauce and the mozzarella cheese was fresh. I was a little disappointed by the crust. It was burnt and not edible. Also, the pie was small. Because the crust is so thin (more like bar pizza) it can't be shared by a family. For the calzone, it was a good size and tasted good! They allow you to choose whatever toppings you want to stuff inside - I went with pepperoni, peppers, onions and cheese! Since the flavors were overall good, I would order again but I would try a different pie.
This place is Horrible , the food was alright i could’ve spent my $26 somewhere else for better quality food. I ordered zeppole just for them to be nasty and have no powder whatsoever. They overcharged me more than what i was supposed to be charged for. The manager Anthony is unprofessional and disrespectful doesn’t know how to communicate with his customers let alone accommodate them on refunds. The delivery lady was very pushy for tips when it wasn’t deserved. Overall my experience at this place was horrible, I’ll never recommend this place !
I'm from out of state. I worked with the manager, Anthony, to order/deliver a couple pizzas for a family member in Morristown, who turned 85 years old today. Our family got the pizzas and we're happy. They said the pizzas were very good. First time experience using this pizzeria. Highly recommend.
3/10, my water was better than the two specialty slices I had. Chicken bacon ranch and buffalo slice. Maybe they’re plain and white slice is good because the slices were thin and crunchy which I do like. But I won’t be returning to find out.
I found this spot to get lunch and called ahead my orders. I called in for myself the pasta Primavera with no dairy. I called about an hour ahead and told the nice man what time I would be there. When I arrived I parked in the lot in the back. I walked in assuming everything would be ready. The nice man greeted me by name and the 2 other meals were done but not mine. I waited about 10 minutes and asked when it would be done. He said they made a mistake and put cream in the Primavera so they had to redo it. I was running late for ny client at this point and the man apologized and told me to grab a drink on the house and I did. The 3 meals I ordered came to about $62, a little pricey but hey. When my food was finally done after about 15 minutes I jetted out. When I ate my food I will say the Primavera was very good. It was flavored well and there was plenty. I was ready to give 3 stars for the long wait and me getting to my client late but everything else pushed it to 4 for sure.
If you’re looking for a cheese pie in the Morristown area, Pomodoro is the spot. Cheese blend is delicious but sauce can get a bit soupy depending on the day. Also, if you’re ordering on a weekend, expect to wait 30+ minutes
I've visited, ordered, and had Pomodoro Ristorante & Pizzeria several times while living in Morristown. Their pizza, appetizers, and other dishes are some of the best quality in the area. Prices cannot be beat, and if you have any special requests or dietary restrictions they are normally glad to oblige if they aren't too busy. Definitely a place to visit if you are in town and need a quick bite.
We continue to be very happy with the service (friendly and polite) and delivery. The food is always delicious and arrives hot and promptly. We recently had a family birthday and the catered food was excellent and arrived hot and on time. If you live in Morristown Would highly recommend.
Yuck! Anyone who likes this pizza has never had a New York slice! I brought my toddler there today and the pizza was cold and dry. The slice was tiny and not competitively priced considering the quality. How are they still open? I’ve never seen my 2 year old refuse pizza until today. She even said “yucky” super loud and embarrassed me. I might go back just so I can take a REAL photo of their dry pizza for this Google review because I saw a couple photos in other reviews that were completely false. Pizza lovers beware of this place. How do you mess up a plain slice? You had one job.
