Nice place. Good food and service.

Celebrating the end of school year high school teacher style at Pavesi!. For me, it was a delicious spaghetti carbonara accompanied by a perfectly dressed garden salad and the best freshly baked bread and olive oil in town. A perfect ending to the 2021-22 school year! I noticed they’ve added to their outdoor decor with garden accents and covered outdoor seating with beautiful lighting. I’m looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment this summer on Fridays and Saturdays. Always a great time! Wonderful experience all around tonight!

This was our first visit to Pavesi. We where greeted immediately by the owner who went and found us the perfect outdoor table. Our server was quickly with us bringing water and bread. He did a wonderful job of pointing out both his and local favorites. We were a table of 4 who all ordered different dishes and we were all very impressed!

Mother’s Day

the food was awsome.the atmosphere was great the service was fantastic

Maybe it was an off night, but the entree was disappointing (lobster ravioli). The appetizer was good (mussels).

i wanted to give this place a second chance after a year and it disappointed again. service and people are great but the food is disappointing and not worth the calories or money. the zucchini flowers were mozzarella sticks and the scarpiello was general tsoas chicken. i’m surprised the reviews are so high here

***TLDR; I likely won’t come back because I wasn’t wowed by the food. I like Cafe Picasso in Somerville much better.***Service: 3/4 stars, as we were seated and served very quickly and without a reservation. Service was SO attentive with trying to clear our tables, my bf and I felt a bit rushed. Maybe the busboys being efficient. My bf was pretty slow to finish the last bits of his food, as we both looked at our phones. But generally, we’d scarf our food down quickly if it’s very good and don’t even pay attention to our phones. Although it was busy when we arrived, there seemed to be no more people being sat and tables were emptying out. Maybe the bussers could’ve chilled a bit. Between ordering and getting the bill, we dined only for an hour flat.Atmosphere: 4 stars, this place is packed and intimate. My bf and I were seated at a two person table, next to another two seater. Separating our two seater tables was a clear, hard, plastic divider. It just seemed very cramped.Food: 2 or 3 stars, I was not impressed. First, the menu is limited. The menu is one double sided page. That can be okay, but you’d expect the dishes to be excellent. Small portions for everything and we were quickly served meatballs and calamari for our apps. Calamari was average. Meatballs tasted better than calamari. My entree, linguine in white clam sauce, did not bring me joy. I love this dish wherever I go, but the dish didn’t taste clammy at all. The sauce was thicker than I’m used to. My tastebuds say my family cooks better linguine in clam sauce than what I had here. While eating it, my mind longingly wandered to the leftovers in my fridge. My boyfriend had chicken parm, to which he said “It’s just mid.”

Wait staff very slow. It was a bit busy so we waited patiently however, very inattentive. People next to us were too close, obnoxious and rude to wait staff. Did not like ambiance. Bruschetta was delish but overall overpriced

Clams casino were VERY small and a watery mushy mess, worst I've ever had. Dinners an improvement but not outstanding. House salad not served with the listed red wine vinegar. Chicken rollatini was bland and uninspired. Short ribs special just OK. Branzino good. Tortelllini with peas in a cream sauce very good, if quite rich. Lattte coffee seems like a mix! Service was good except for one fellow that kept wanting to clear a plate before the gentleman was done eating. BYOB a plus. Singer was pleasant but made it harder to hear others at the table. Also some other patrons were rather loud over the music. Won't rush back.
