By the time we left at 7:30 the place was packed… on a Monday night and that speaks volumes. Let’s backtrack a bit. Restaurant was pretty and nicely decorated. Mango margarita was very good. Not too strong, but definitely made me want another. Blue corn nachos were a hit. The salsa verde had a nice tang that really elevated the flavors. And finally the chicken enchiladas were super tasty! Service was quick, but friendly and we did not feel rushed at all despite the restaurant getting very crowded. I would definitely come back!
This restaurant already gets 3 stars just for having alcoholic drinks. If only NJ could get real and abolish these ridiculous liquor laws. Ugh!! I digress…eye catching, modern interiors. Nice that the bar area is decently separated from the dining room. Cuisine is very good; lots of tempting choices on the menu. We had margaritas which were excellent. One negative was the host staff. Guy who seated us wasn’t altogether pleasant and seemed a bit aloof. We were brought to a table which clearly hadn’t been adequately cleaned either. Not a good start. One other negative was long wait times for pretty much everything, but that wasn’t too awful. Overall, was a nice restaurant. Would definitely go back.

Came here over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. The vibe is great and the interior is pretty cool. Only negative is that it’s really LOUD and lights are very dim inside. Hard to hear but that’s really it. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Table side guac and chips are a must for an appetizer. It’s made to perfection and the portion is great. The Al pastor tacos with short ribs are delicious as well. They have margarita flights which are fantastic. Also tried a tequila flight which was new for me. Very cool but not really my thing! The dinner in general was a little pricey but the portions and taste made up for it, at least for me. One hundred percent recommend this place.Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. Not everyone is wearing a mask but the seating is pretty distanced. Felt comfortable indoors and enjoyed my time there for dinner!
The second time we came here we did not have a great experience as the first time. Service was significant slow and it took very long time to get attention to our food. However, the waitresses were friendly and nice. Appetizers are really good. I highly recommend their ceviche. My friend and I ordered the enchiladas and we didnt feel good after eating it.
The Pastor Short rib tacos and the Morris Street shrimp tacos are deliciously. Nice decor with a very nice bar. Service was very good. We’ll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.
Went on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Our bartender Andrea was so nice and helpful. Went out of her way to explain the different tequilas and flights. The food was delicious and margaritas on point (loved the Mango!) 10/10We went back this past Friday evening (because we loved it that much!) and sat at the bar again, but this time the bartender was not good. She came off a little rude and annoyed with anything we asked. Completely different customer service experience from the first time. So, we will for sure be back just will avoid this specific bartender.
