Colin was my bartender and, as the only customer, treated me to all services, including a conversation about an upcoming UFC event.The food was decent. Very short menu. This place stands out, but it's hard to remember. Perhaps having some advertising would help. "The name Iron Bar should be posted inside and on menus."It is apparent the management strays away from human interaction. It features an unwanted feeling, but Colon makes up for that. I'll be back for another go. Hopefully, these new adjustments will happen.
The general tsos cauliflower is absolutely amazing, the hot pretzel to die for. Definitely have the best bar food in town!
If you do come here you will have trouble getting drinks when it is busy and will have a flashlight shined in your face if you even look unhappy, after that you will be asked to leave. Quite often you will see people being kicked for no reasons besides the bouncers chose to. Bad service from bartenders and from bouncers/security.
Dope ambiance and well priced drinks compared to other bars in the area. Cover fee varies and dress code isn’t too strict
I wanted to love this place. Everything looked better than it was, though. My husband and I sat at the bar, great beer selection! It didn't matter, though, because our bartender was so neglectful. We had to ask him if we could put in a drink and food order, we ordered our beers, some waters, and food. Then he disappeared without giving us our waters so we had to ask someone else. Then we got our food and had to ask someone else for utensils. Then we asked for a to-go box and the check, he took his time talking to other workers and mingling before getting our stuff. The food looked amazing, texture of it was good, the taste was bland. We ordered the chicken and waffles, it is served with gravy instead of syrup which I wouldn't mind, just a little short on flavor though. We also got the short rib sandwich, again great presentation and texture, but just blah flavor. Great ambiance, but we won't be returning.
Terrible place. Don’t bother ordering mix drinks here. They don’t put anything in the drinks and the alcohol the use is the cheapest on the market. They were using Vlad vodka to make mix drinks. This place was great years ago, but has gone down hill. Also be prepared to pay a cover if you are a guy. Only place in Morristown that is doing that. There are many other bars in the area that are X10 better then here.
Great times always. Two floors basement is more my vibe. More urban feel and better music. Faster bar as well and closer to the bathrooms. More space and definitely louder....
Place is garbage. Was fun in 2018-2019. But they’re way too strict for what it is. The music is all super hard style EDM garbage. And horseshoe, homestead, laundromat, are all a 10x better time
Took my cousins out for their first experience here and they absolutely loved it! The different vibes both levels gives and size makes you never feel bored. Never a dull moment.One BIG problem though... The security up front rarely, if at all, patted anyone down or checked anybody. Maybe because the area never has problems? but that's kind of scary in all honesty given how easily something can be brought in and used in a split second.Though there are a lot of security throughout the place which is comforting, it's still a little concerning not seeing them pat down at the entrance. At least the night I went, we didn't see that nor were we patted so hopefully that was just that night.
Was told I had to take my beanie off before entry in the middle of February. You're telling me this trashy excuse for a bar has a dress code? Laughable. Best part is I see at least 3-4 other people wearing one once I get in. Almost thought the bouncer was messing with me until I read more reviews with similar experiences. There are other fantastic options in the area, save your money (and ears) and skip this place.
