My meal here was my favorite among the ~5 hispanic restaurants I've tried in Morristown. Two of us shared Bandera (steak was delicious and looked dry but it was not at all, and the chicharrĂ³n was physically easier to eat than at other spots), Mixed tripe & goat stew (goat was super tender), and pupusa beans.
First time in the restaurant. Was not greeted when I came in. Restaurant had only one customer at the time I walked in. Food was good.
Best food in Morristown. Seriously
Too much salt on the chicken soup
Quality wasn't good and yet a bit pricey
I"be been eating at this restaurant for years, the food is amazing, the portions are great. It's a no frills restaurant but the again the seafood is amazing.
A honest review. Lets just say the goat stew platter I ordered for take-out was quite the disappointment. Goat on the bone adds ton of flavor but my gosh DID I GET MORE BONE THAN I DID MEAT. It was close to 1:5 meat to bone ratio. The stew sauce was very bland and whatever piece of meat I could eat was not that tender nor flavorful. The plantains tasted as though they came straight from a frozen GOYA box. All cardboard no plantain. Put here's the best part. The platter came with a side salad. The salad was warm and soaked from the steam of the stew. Add another side to your platter dish and stop serving warm salad to your customers.
Great food, nice people, spacious place.
Best pupusas in Morris County and plenty of other delicious dishes. Friendly staff.
The food is great always, ummm, ummm good.
