On a late night hunt for food, my road trip group found this chicken spot about 5 minutes off of interstate 287. Considering most places were closed or closing at the time, options were limited. We did call to confirm that they were open for indoor dining and they told us they were open to 12am as the website said.Entering the establishment, there is a lot of wall graphics and signs that advertise the place. We were greeted by a cashier who was patient in taking our order as it was our first time here. We ordered Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Wings and a few drinks. When I tell you the food came fast, it was a little scary how fast. Most places you assume that if it’s fast, it’s pre-made and they just toss it in the sauce. Considering we were all hungry, this was not a concern for us. What I will say is they must’ve either prepped it fresh or just made it because WOW it was delicious! The mozzarella sticks had an amazing cheese pull which I accidentally smacked my brothers face attempting to get a really long pull. Attached is an example of the cheese pull. The wings were crispy but not too dry and no too wet. Just perfect! We split the wings to 10 Buffalo and 5 BBQ which was a good decision. I will say the Buffalo sauce wasn’t as spicy as I wanted but still had a little kick. The “mild” bbq wasn’t really mild but hey, I’m not gonna bust their chops over the sauce.Overall, great experience! This will now be a must go to on our road trip travels! I will highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat and not too far off the interstate!Thank you to the staff at Cluck-U Chicken for getting us home on full stomachs and we will definitely come back!Best Regards,Benjamin P.
My go to chicken place. Love the staff at morristown. Miss the old location but the new one is great too.
I've been going to Cluck U since the early days at Rutgers, and this new location gives a similar vibe. Only thing missing is the Robocluck poster and the arcade basketball game to take a nap in (if you were there you know ?)
My longtime favorite go to wing rib and fried shrimp location in downtown Morristown parking is a little rough. Had to illegally park 1/2 a block away This time. Miss the free parking at the old Morris street location. So worth the walk
mess up my order that took 45 minutes then. when i ask for new chicken said delivery would take 45 minutes. It took 2 hours to delivery chicken, which was delivered cold
The new location for Cluck-U Chicken is nice, not too big, not too small. It was clean and the order was ready when they said it would be.Their menu has a lot of variety and the prices are not bad. Of course, I got the wings (teriyaki) and they were really good. They are not the small, little wings you get from other places... they were BIG, FAT wings with lots of meat.We also got chicken empinatas, chicken fingers and a chicken Caesar salad wrap... all.were good.
It's a little expensive but the buffalo wings are good. I recommend the Clucksters Hot sauce for the wings
NEVER THE HONEY MUSTARD .
Place gas great food and staff was super friendly
My wife and I decided to check out CUC’s new location on 162 South Street in Morristown. We both tried "The Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich" and were pleasantly surprised how large it was. The bun was fresh and the fried chicken crispy with lots of flavor. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed our lunch.
