Wonderful celebration we had! Food was very good, generous portions. Only issue was that it got really hot - don't know what happened to the a/c.
Food is very good and nice variety. Service was kind and attentive although there was a mix up with one of our orders - which was promptly and graciously corrected. There was slight disappointment that our main courses arrived before we had a chance to finish our appetizers, so perhaps timing of delivery could be tweaked to allow customers to properly enjoy each course?
Very pleasant. Good food, great service, nice that they have a brunch menu available daily until early afternoon (offers more choices for lunch).
So we were waiting for another place and decided to not wait and eat here. BEST DECISION EVER. Ever go to brunch and over eat and over drink and feel gross after?The food here is amaze balls! Perfectly balanced flavors. Just the right amount of seasoning. I kind of didn’t want to leave a review so that it doesn’t get busy on the weekends and I can keep this place my personal secret. But this establishment deserves all of your business!! I died and went to yum heaven.
We normally love our dining experience at Uncle Momo's. Perhaps going on a Monday evening was not a good idea. My husband's choice (beef shawarma) was unavailable. He ordered steak frites instead. It was well prepared and a good-sized portion, but not really nothing special for $32. My chicken tajine was good, but also seemed overpriced for just 2 pieces of dark-meat chicken and a tiny bowl of rice. The appetizers were good (tabouleh and hummus) as was the freshly-baked pita and our server was friendly. Another small issue was when we asked for some ice for our bottle of rosé wine, we were told that the ice machine was not working. Room-temperature rosé on a warm evening was okay, but not ideal. We will give Uncle Momo's another chance, but definitely not on a Monday!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Sat outside which was noisy because it is on a busy street. Inside looked pretty bare bones. We enjoyed and will go back but the indoors really needs some sprucing up.

Friendly service. Good portions. We shared the mezze plate and cheese bourek plate to start and they were delicious.
Uncle MoMo's was recommended to me by a neighbor because I am a vegetarian. Ate there last night and wow !! what a gem of a restaurant..wonderful menu with lots of veggie options. I had the falafel platter which was excellent, not only were the falafel yummy, the platter came with a small salad with a tahini dressing that was amazing, The Hummus was fresh and accompanied by homemade pita that was light and delicious. I look forward to trying many of the other vegie menu items. Service was excellent as well !! I highly recommend this charming little restaurant..
