One of the worst desserts I have ever tasted! Tramisu was only cream. Also carrot cake was very dry. Cappuccino was good!

I had to remove a star for the staff not being terribly nice or professional. The woman taking orders and preparing beverages was busy chatting on the phone while she was working and barely made eye contact with me or anyone else. Another lady ended up taking my order and brought my crepe to my table. It was mid-afternoon and wasn't very crowded when I was there (although it was more crowded by the time I left). The crepe I got (Almondy Almond) was made vegan and gluten-free, and delicious, and plenty filling. I enjoyed it.Seems like a nice spot for live music as well.

Super cute. The London fog I got was delicious, and so was the red velvet cake. My cousin does not recommend the lavender bubble tea lol, but we do recommend the place as a whole.

I came to the coffee shop a little late and she still served me, the waitress was amazing, made an amazing coffee with a smile. This place is now my favorite due to their amazing atmosphere and pastries selections. Highly recommended!!

Trend in the name is certainly appropriate for this restaurant. Very cool vibes, live music and eclectic art covering every wall made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I thought it was unique that you could buy the art right off of the walls. Additionally, you can add cbd to the beverages, which if you're into that, is a nice touch. That being said, I thought the coffee was average. Initially I ordered the Hazelnut and French Vanilla coffees. They really had nothing to them. I told the staff (manager/owner) and they said no problem and gave us the regular coffee. Again, there really wasn't much to it, kind of tasted like diner coffee. That being said the manager was really nice about it and for that I give the service a nice grade! Perhaps I caught them on a bad day or perhaps the bubble tea was the way to go. I would probably try again just to be sure, as well as to try the crepes! Price wise they weren't terrible either, pretty much what you would expect in a town like Montclair. For now, I would rate this place overall a 2.4 out of 5.

Awesome place! The best coffee I've had since I arrived in the United States, and some incredible cakes. Very warm and friendly service.

Trend is a cute and coffee shop with more than just coffee. Their chai is awesome especially their flavored ones, such as pumpkin. Trend's atmosphere is very homey and you'll want to try the crepes and variety of desserts. You'll feel like you're in a trendy East/West Village NYC coffee shop. A must visit spot in Upper Montclair.

Super cute and trendy coffee/tea shop with a lot of options! I’ve been here a few times pre and post COVID. Pre-COVID the place was amazing and luckily nothing has changed post COVID times. Still has the same chill/relaxing atmosphere. It is a great place to work or study or just meet someone for a drink/dessert.The barista is an absolute sweetheart! She really impressed me when she took the time to ask me about having any allergies before blindly serving me my order. My favorite thing on the menu is the Nutella coffee. It has a unique flavor but really hits the spot every time.

Great service and a really nice location. You can sit in and enjoy whatever you order at tables, couches, chairs etc. The coffee and pastries are good and they have table service for the most part as well as a tab system. They offer complimentary wifi so you can work/study while you eat/drink.

I used to really love this coffee house, and attended frequent. However, today I was treated extremely poorly. As a frequent attendee, I have often ordered a coffee and then later on ordered something more, even when attending with friends. Today I went with a friend I ordered a coffee, and she had not ordered yet. After sometime we were approached and asked if we ordered, I explained I ordered a coffee and later order more. We were then approached again and told " my boss wants you to order something because you guys are sitting here", I repeated that we had already ordered something. Finally, he comes over and approaches us in an extremely rude manner, stating that we gave his employees attitude, so he in turn is going to give us attitude. Raised his voice and said "I need to make money you need to buy something" but also said "leave I do not need your business, never come back here". We tried to explain to him that we were going to order more we just were trying to get a dent in our work, he would not let us get a word out, just continued to yell "i don't care". His approach was completely unprofessional, and embarrassing. I have never been spoken to like that in any establishment before, and I will never step foot in there again, my friend and I were appalled by his actions.
