Lovely place, the food is good. All the servers appear to speak Turkish very fluently and that’s a nice touch. Although it would be cool if they could speak some English too. I had the lamb with rice, and baklava. Not bad

Food was delicious from the table bread to closing coffee. The bread was warm and flavorful. We took the liver appetizer, I didn’t know what to expect. It turned out to be very delicious, with interesting taste.Onto the entree, lamb shank was very tasty, soft and melts in your mouth. It reminded me a dish from an Iraqi chef in San Jose Cali. Prior to this I didn’t know these 2 countries were neighbors.Last but not least, Turkish coffee was delicious, well composed. The grounds were well deposited at the bottom of the cup, soft earth like taste not overwhelming the other coffee flavors. All in all, if you’re looking for a traditional Turkish spot, this is one of them.

Hands down, the best value dine in lunch in town. Friendly staff, attentive service, and tasty food. Soup or salad, appetizer and entree for under $18. Outdoor patio in the rear of restaurant is cute and makes you feel transported out of somewhere. The Kofte and salad are my favorites.

I just visited this place today with my brother just to be called idiots or (geri zekali) in their own native language by the host because I wasn’t sure if I should speak English or Turkish, I happened to live in Turkey for 2 years so I know their language. I love Turkish food and their culture but I was shocked today. The restaurant itself looks stunning, I hope the owner starts looking to hire more polite people if he doesn’t want to lose his business

Toros is well known trademark in the area. If you're looking for well-seasoned perfectly-cooked meats then you're in the right place. You will not be disappointed. With their wide variety of menu options (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and atmosphere they truly capture Turkish culture and succeed in transferring it to Jersey.I wish they had a broader dessert menu.I hosted dinners and events here and they went above and beyond.

This restaurant has great service, ambiance, and awesome food. And you'll experience it all if you can find it! Although it on a main thoroughfare, Valley St, the huge sign above the entrance says "Max's." You can't see "Toros" printed wuth a white decal on the window. My first time there, I walked back and forth, up and down Valley for 15 min, trying to find the restaurant. Persistence was rewarded with a fantastic meal.

Garbage food . We ate Lamb chop today the price for each lamb chop is 30 each. You can buy a whole lamb with $50 and the taste was bitter. even dog won't eat it. I guess they aren't in business instead they are destroying it.

Be careful adding grilled chicken to your salad! I ordered takeout and my $17.95 salad turned into a $40+ dollar salad. When I called to say that I thought I was overcharged, Toros confirmed they charge $22.95 to add grilled chicken and $2.95 to add cheese to the salad! Yikes - other than that the food was great!

Good place to try Turkish food.

Place is nice inside and on patio. Food is fine. It is not bad by any means, it is not fantastic to rave about either. Moussaka was really good though.
