Standard sushi place. Nothing to write home about and took forever to get our rolls and order. What could have been a nice meal turned into a dragged out ordeal. Overrated from the feedback that I received to recommend the place. They do offer a discount for cash payment.
This place is horrible- never order here again. They tried to tell me that a lobster roll was a California roll and up charged me. And on top of that I found hairs in my food. Never in my life have I ordered and seen sushi like this. I did not get the courtesy of the roll being replaced nor money back.
What a Pleasant Surprise! Went here with my son searching for a new local Sushi restaurant. I am super picky when it comes to sushi, I will hardly eat at a place unless it's word of mouth approved when it comes to sushi. Toro was great! They have an extensive menu of yummy appetizers, variety of cooked and raw rolls, sushi and sashimi. If you prefer Teriyaki they have it, you prefer Tempura they have it, you want Hibachi they have it...I think you get the picture. The place itself is small and the location is a bit tucked away just off Valley Rd in Upper Montclair, make sure your GPS is working. Very friendly wait staff and it's priced right. Go, it's worth the trip!
people, beware, the crab/avocado salad has kani/fake crab meat!!!!!! also the salmon sahimi smelled of fish!!!!!
Pretty busy when i walk in, greeted by the employees and find out that the owner is chinese, really feeled welcomed since i am chinese too. Needed to wait a while for the food but it was worth it. Great food great sevice, definitely one of the best restaurant around the area.

The food was good. We got Appetizers and rolls. Wait staff was kind. BYOB so great place to go to before a long night out.
Great experience here, the employees communicate d with me with the different requests that i have. Food was fresh and great, it was worth the price. I will definitely come back.
