Superb takeout. The salmon toro melts in your mouth.
I dont sushi often, but I was impressed. I especially loved the miso soup too.
Fish quality was not very good. I can imagine this place could be better.

My go to is the negimayaki, shrimp tempura rolls and sweet potato rolls. Their sweet potato rolls are out of this world. After eating at other sushi spots, you will always find yourself coming back to Sushi Hana for theirs.

I don't eat sushi, but this is still one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I can have a near perfect meal on just sides and appetizers alone. They do everything so well-- never had something I here I didn't like.
The portions are very small. There are so many better places nearby Montclair!

i ordered shrimp tempura rolls and pork gyoza and both had issues. the pork was chewy and had small bones in it. wasn’t sure what kind of meat it was, didn’t finish it. the seaweed paper for the roll felt like i was chewing on gum. it wouldn’t break down, no matter how much i chewed. also, the taste of the roll itself was subpar. the ramune soda was good. was just kinda disappointed overall because none of my food tasted how it’s supposed to. i’m giving 3 stars because i’m being nice. would probably give 2 stars tbh. but that’s neither here nor there.
This spot is worth trying. They serve big portions for reasonable rates. Regularly well kept and with fantastic vibes. I highly recommend this place.
