I do not recommend it and I'm highly disappointed.2/5 - Could've been betterI will say the restaurant has nice classy indoor and outdoor decor and seating. But, I was disappointed in receiving paper menus but that's me nitpicking. The server was polite and never disrespected us directly to our faces. The food and feedback weren't so great. We got the following:- Giambotta Steak was delicious and have no complaints there.- Lasagnette With Vodka but with rigatoni pasta... it is way too hard!(For Context, My family is Italian I know what al dente pasta is but, that was not cooked!) A server did come up and apologized and stated that's how the family cooks the pasta al dente and he understands. I appreciate the guy apologizing but, I don't see how you would even consider the pasta even slightly cooked.-Polpette Amatriciana was nice different taste. But, This was slightly undercooked (medium well), and requested if they could cook it fully. This was on us for not requesting it to be fully cooked when our order was taken. But, when the server took the plate back to the kitchen he was showing off the plate to everyone in the kitchen, laughing and smiling. That was not only disrespectful but also extremely inappropriate. The kitchen doors were open, we can see the people in the kitchen laughing and smiling. That is not okay!!Afterward, A lady did approach us stating that it's already cooked but they can warm it up for longer..... Since when is a medium-well done meatball fully cooked with it's center not only pink but also slightly cold? Have I been cooking all wrong? To top it all off, this was overpriced for the bad meals and indirect disrespect.Update: 3/5The next day a lady contacted us regarding our review of our bad experience. They asked if we can give them a second chance and apologized. To be completely transparent, no one has called regarding a review of having a bad experience. She was very polite and transparent.I haven't gotten a chance to try them again. But, will soon and update this.
Best restaurant in NJ hands down. Everything on the menu is beyond exquisite! Try the sole or the lamb (my faves) and Sally is the absolute best! I wish there were more stars...Hi Sally!
Phenomenal food, beautiful decor and feel inside the restaurant, and a very friendly staff. Will absolutely be back. Some of the best ravioli I’ve ever had.
Pretty atmosphere, attentive and polite service, delicious food. Great place to go with friends. Especially those who share dessert!
The food was delicious. We had the bruschetta special, mussels buffalo salad and shrimp dishes for appetizers. For dinner we had the filet miñon medallions, scallops, gnocchi, shrimp diavolo, lamb chops, the orecchiette special and the salmon. The presentation was impeccable and everyone enjoyed their meal. The gnocchi were like clouds, that’s how tender they were. Dessert was the chocolate, carrot cake and they brought us a tiramisu as a bonus. I was in heaven, the tiramisu melts in your mouth. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I recommend you enjoy a meal at this place, you won’t regret it.
Excellent dining experience. The food, atmosphere and friendly service was top notch.
Excellent food. Mussels were amazing. Portobello mushrooms were out of this world. Lamb chops were under cooked and salmon was decent. Should’ve went with the red snapper. But the worst part was our waiter. He was terrible. Couldn’t make recommendations and was not attentive at all.
Very noisy and hectic. Did not feel relaxed or taken really good care of. Food was OK but on the expensive side. Recommend to request a table on the upper level since it might be more relaxed there.
Nice place and good place to take on a date .loud downstairs main room but i like a.lively atmosphere. Food is very good and service attentive times.i have been there.priced accordingly for a byob.
If you're looking to spend time with family THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! Not to mention the food was barely hot. Constantly needed to wave down a server to ask for basic things...like utensils, water, bread. We have had many traumatic events in our family happen over the passed year. My mother turned 70 today. THIS WOMAN IS A SAINT AND DESERVED TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR ALL THE SUPPORT SHE PROVIDES HER FAMILY. We managed to surprise her with her closest immediate family members who traveled from near & far. Our dinner experience ended by being asked by Ms Not-So-Gracious Sally.."How much longer do you plan on being here? The other reservation is waiting....they have babysitters..." REALLY???? So...who's problem is that? Definitely not mine!! And DEFINITELY will never return! Save your money! You'll get better service at a diner!!
