Wonderful, authentic, delicious Italian specialties. I dream about the panzerotti. Everything is so fresh and fantastic! Can't say enough good things about it! The focaccia breads, artichoke, pizzas.. were all delightful as well.

I have so much to say, I don't even know where to start. It was a coincidence to get there today Sunday for lunch. And even though I live a few miles away (Fort Lee) I assure you that I will come back to enjoy such exquisite food. A round of applause for the chef, everything was delicious, I had to ask if the chef was Italian, because that was the only way to explain the flavor and perfection of each dish. PALATO is a must to go! Grazie mille for a 5 ⭐️ customer service! Btw the bill at the end surprise me!
Excellent food - the eggplant, polenta & sausage appetizers are delicious. Seafood pasta perfectly balanced with light favorable sauce & plenty of seafood. Deserts are fantastic- gelato, chocolate squares & tiramisu-excellent.Excellent service ; very pleasant & accommodating owner. Great chef .My wife & I drove 65 miles to meet our friends to eat at Palato. Definitely will return. Thanks very much for a great night.
Amazing little Italian in Montclair. Great service with delicious appetizers and entrees. Guazzetto and Polpettine to start followed by lasagna and caserecce that were as good as it gets. Affogato for desert and you are perfect.
Palato Cuccina serves as a relaxing and cozy escape from bustling Bloomfield Ave. Delicious authentic Italian fare in a warm and quaint space!
Really intimate restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. The white bean soup was fantastic. The service was impeccable. Could not have been better in any way. Palato is a gem for sure!
My recent discovery of this little gem in Montclair. Cozy place with nice ambiance…it is a place you would find in the nyc village. Food is authentic, pasta is homemade and cooked perfectly. Also helps owners are from Italy :-)Excellent service & food…my new fav go to place. Highly recommend!
I've been here now four times, and every dish has been delicious! My favorite has been the lasagna, burrata appetizer, and gelato. Beautiful ambiance and friendly staff. You must try if you're looking for an authentic Italian meal.
Palato Caffe and CucinaSuch a lovely little quiet corner of Montclair. Yes, this is a BYOB and I definitely will remember that going forward. This adorable Italian bistro is nothing short of perfect. The people and the food are wonderful and inviting. They treat you like a welcomed old friend. (not like family, and so much better).Something about true Italian hosts, you feel the warmth as soon as you walk in the door and really never want to leave. The space is so well planned out and decorated with a presiding eye that you hardly realize you are in the busy bustling Montclair Center.Polpettine di Vittello. Veal meatballs with my favorite Cacio Cavallo cheese.There is nothing like a mouthwatering meatball made with fresh spices and the tomato sauce was prepared with fresh herbs that offer a taste like no other. The serving is 4 large and please pace yourself because there is so many other items on the menu.For my entrée Fettuccini Al Fungi. This is the velvetiest mushroom dish I have ever eaten. Prepared with garlic and truffle oil. The smell is phenomenal the taste is excellent, not too cloying or bland it was just right!Dessert was a fancy Salame di Cioccolato. Yup, a decedent chocolate dessert shaped like salami (e) mixed with scrambled biscotti and rum.What’s not to like? From the moment you arrive to the time you leave they don’t rush you out, and even though they are open until 10:30 or so, you will have to leave eventually. I will be back again to Palato Caffe and Cucina and I am sure they will be here for years to come. Love this place!!!!!
