The worst Margherita pizza ive ever had in my life. Barely cooked, reheated pizza nothing even CLOSE to the most basic new york pizza. The order was 12.80, I gave you 15 and you returned 2 dollars. I didnt want to cause a scene and just left before the Brooklyn in me could come out. Horrible pizza, bad with money (I dont care how small)...I highly advise to find a better place.
Came for a late lunch with my kids and the staff seemed annoyed that we came. The food was subpar at best, I ordered the mozzarella caprese and what came was a few very thin slices of “homemade” mozzarella that was rubbery and bland but more importantly made my stomach feel weird immediately. My sons chicken was over fried with old oil, he could barely bite it. In my opinion the only thing worth ordering is the pizza and honestly I think there are better places in Montclair to get pizza from.
An Italian restaurant with no bread… this wasn’t the first time that we’ve been to Leone’s and was told that they had no bread. Don’t get it you have a pizza oven in the front, if you run out of bread throw some dough in the pizza oven. Oh and do I dare mention that they don’t have espresso either, yes the food is good but not sure I’m going to make Leone’s a go to next time.

This was honestly the oddest night I've had in a while. Went here with my husband for a special date. We were say in a secluded corner in front of what was supposed to be an emergency exit and next to their stock of extra chairs. Apparently the waitresses don't get breaks because ours was telling us that she was starving and that she hadn't eaten at all yet because there's "no time". We were told that we had to put our entire order in at once and we'd get what we got in the order that the kitchen could fire it. We luckily got our food in order of what we would've ordered it had we not been told we couldn't. The food was "ok". Seems to be a spot that locals enjoy. Also saw a waitress actively drop a piece of my husband's food, threw the piece that fell back onto the plate with a bunch of napkins, then we were brought a plate with no napkins and missing a piece of chicken. Kitchen said they'd send out a new piece in a few. Where did this plate come from without the extra piece of chicken? Super strange.
Was there for a repast. There was bread-salad-calamari (not for me-not a fish eater). 4 or 5 entrees to choose from. I had chicken parmigiana with pasta. It was delicious and the portions are very generous. However our waitress could have been more pleasant
We came in a big group. They gave us a private area. The service was great. The food was delicious. And the price was right. There's really nothing bad to say about this place. Every time we go the food is delicious. And it's BYOB which is great for large groups. Can't wait to go back!!
I arrive at this excellent place every couple of days because I love the good air that is outline this place. The staff is very cordial and experienced. The service is extraordinarily quick. Needless to say, the food you get is great. I came often and I was always delighted. The payment is reasobable. I recommend this place to to everybody.
Pizza is good, fresh ingredients and thin crust. Chicken Alfredo was a little bland, but not bad. Service was blah, it was like she really couldn't be bothered. I would return only to buy pizza to go.
Good pizza friendly staff just why would you open with no pizza ready hahaha everyday
