forgot to include sauce and rice and delivery guy left food outside instead of ringing entry door! wonton dumplings all broken open and soup was strong beef instead of light chicken. last time ordering from here
I went for their dimsims/dumplings and was not disappointed at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating, parking could be crowded. The ambience is good, the service is very friendly. They have some good recommendations. I had the vegetable dumplings in hot oil and the spicy chicken dumplings, both were really good. Their spicy sauce gave that extra hit!
Wow. We went to a party at the restaurant and the food never stopped. Everything was delicious and we stuffed ourselves over a couple of hours. People who worked were great, polite and thorough. I will be back with family to have them try this amazing restaurant.
I go to this restaurant particularly for their beef noodle soup, really hard to find in our area. The first time I went, the waitress I had said they have it in stock. After I ate my starter soup dumplings which were phenomenal, the waitress unfortunately came out to tell me the kitchen had no more. I was quite upset between the lack of communication from back of house and front.So I came back a couple weeks later and I had the soup dumplings and beef noodle soup, which they had that time and it was amazing. Right amount of spice, beef very tender, and right amount of noodles. I also had the same waitress and as the first time, she provided great customer service.If you come to this restaurant in Montclair, get the soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, and ask for Gricel to wait on you!
Awesome food and great atmosphere.
Loved the food. I have been away from the Tri-State area for three years, so it was wonderful to have the type of Chinese food I grew up eating after the pandemic! My favorite was the BBQ Ribs!! YUM!!! The service was good, the food was delicious except the egg roll, and the ambiance was delightful.
My first time here. Used Google to find Chinese food near me. And it was the closest restaurant near me and i went to the location and found a very busy store and walked in and placed an order for take out...omg good food ..next time I'll eat on site
The Chinese Food is without question one of the Best in the State, which you pay for. They lose me a little with the service. They don't really like to engage with customers, even when it's about their food. In my mind it's both great food and great service together that makes the experience great. They have me at Great Food, lost me at Great Service. Cheer up over there.
I ordered Vegeterian Dan Dan noodles and Mapo tofu. I specially asked them to make it spicy. I eat these things at so many restaurants in New York City and they are so flavourful and spicy. However Hunan taste order was bland, tasteless and raw. It seemed liked the noodles were not cooked properly. The food was absolutely terrible. I would never go back.
Been here multiple times and it's always a hit! Salt and pepper shrimp, Dan Dan noodles, shrimp dumplings... They're all fantastic. I would definitely recommend going with more than one person so you can sample lots of different things. Service is lovely, too - once we were given warm towelettes after our meal, another time a plate of juicy orange slices and a pot of fragrant jasmine tea. Great place!
