GOOD CHICKEN at 114 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair NJ has amazing chicken. Jane and her husband were very accomodating and recommended great options to feed a film crew. Every single bite was consumed...not one crumb was left. Everything was delectable. The crispy popcorn chicken with their spicy mayo sauce and wings (crispy and soy garlic) were delicious. We also tried the rice dog (Original, Mozzarella and Sausage, and 100% Mozzarella) and potato dog (Mozzarella + Sausage, 100% Mozzarella) and the crew loved them. The freshly brewed iced tea is refreshing and perfect for a hot day. Would highly recommend this place if you want a quality chicken meal for a good price.
Everything about this spot was exquisite!! The food was on point, amazing, perfectly crispy and delicious !! Also Jane was just such a beautiful soul and added such a positive vibe!! Will definitely be coming back and if your thinking of trying this place out, do yourself a favor and do it.
Fantastic Foodie Find in Montclair! We were in the mood for fried chicken and this place hit the spot! Tried the Crispy Hot Chicken combo and the Glazed Popcorn chicken. Two different options both equally delicious. The chicken was fresh and spicy and the drinks were refreshing and unique (Strawberry lemonade and Mango Ice tea) The service was the best part and we will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Overall, a great locally-owned fast casual option!
Just dined at this establishment a few minutes ago and quickly wanted to review.I love Korean fried chicken and this place did not disappoint. Wings were crispy, hot and the chicken was moist and not dry. I got hot crispy and hot soy and both were flavorful. The hot soy had just enough heat. Overall will be coming back many times again!
Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had and I’m from California where the food quality is absolutely fantastic. Ordered the hot crispy chicken and soy garlic wings, both were absolutely delicious! I also appreciate that for take out, they time the orders so that it’s fresh upon pick up! Excellent customer service.
Their chicken is sooo good and fresh plus the worker in front is really nice, I love the crispy hot drumsticks.
Ordered chicken wings (soy and regular) today and I don't now what changed with the wings. They weren't crispy and they were really huge and the skin wasn't cooked well...weird. I threw the wings out because my husband complained about the taste. Also, I loved the fries, but this go around they were barely seasoned. I hope this isn't the standard going forward because we're considering not returning. Every time a new spot opens and the food is banging, they always eventually slack off. I hope this isn't the case because we recommended a few friends and family.Sorry, we didn't take photos because we put the chicken in the garbage and this review was an after thought.
So I was craving Korean fried chicken and I saw this place but was hesitant because it’s new and they don’t have that many reviews….. I am really big on reviews when it comes to new places.. anyways… I took the risk and ordered the soy garlic and the crispy fried chicken via Uber eats and it was AMAZING!!! ???? I love bonchon chicken but I can eat here and not miss bonchon at all because Good Chicken’s wings are SO GOOD!! ❤️❤️ It’s definitely on my “cravings” list now. I will definitely reorder again!! If you’re hesitating because it’s new, trust me, just take the risk. It’ll be worth it!
The best Korean chicken wings I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Wings are very crispy and flavorful. Also, their rice & potato dogs are AMAZING!!! I will definitely visit this place again:)
