I wish I could give more stars. Food is always delicious. If you have special instructions it comes out correct! Never any mistakes! Everyone is always nice! Never messes with my stomach. I've never had better Chinese before!

The food is excellent. The owner is also very very nice. Sad to say they are not part of UberEats. My board gave me a gift card for UberEats and bought Chinese food from another restaurant. It was awful. Sticking to Golden River without using UberEats.
This is the best Chinese takeout ive had since i moved to Jersey. The pork fried rice was delicious as well as the Chicken Kung Po. I had a pretty big order so they threw in some Pork Fried Egg rolls on the house. food came out fairly quick. Everything is clean and the service was polite and cordial. I highly recommend.
Best Chinese I've had in a a very long time. I have tried many Chinese establishments throughout Essex county and they all fall short. Even the ones in the upscale areas fall short. Golden River is always consistent with dishes and freshness. One main thing I pay attention to is whether the broccoli is fresh and it always is. To get to the point. I would say they they have the best Chinese food in Essex county.

Something bad has happened to this restaurant. I have ordered from them for 25+ years, but now the quality of the food has fallen. I ordered seafood delight, featuring lobster, but there was no lobster in the dish. The restaurant's is they said that they don't make it that way anymore. Today, I ordered shrimp chow mein, but there were NO chow mein noodles. Chow mein means 'fried noodles. Don't buy here!
Consistently delicious! Food is always prepared very quickly & perfectly cooked. Portions are generous. Fried Chicken dumplings are amazing!
The place is nice and roomy, the food was enchanting and the prices were very economical. quick, efficient service and very welcoming staff members. I highly recommend this place.
