The most delicious authentic Greek gyro around. The owner is lovely and very accommodating as well. Highly recommended!
I ordered chicken gyros for my team and they were beyond delicious. I’ve been meaning to get to Efi’s and now I’m wondering what took me so effin’ long. We will definitely be back!! We also had the fries with and without feta, and they both were great!
A great little find. Love the food here. The pita is the best one I’ve had from all the greek restaurants I have visited so far. I had the pork pita gyro. I loved it but I just wish they added more tomatoes and some green to freshen up the gyro. It’s a lot of salty foods in one gyro without some fresh produce but aside from that it is very good. Their Tzatziki is really good as well. It as a bit of a kick which is different but not unwelcomed. My sister and I got a side of that and it brings a grilled pita drizzled with olive oil
Ordered for delivery and this was DELICIOUS!!! I got the plant based gyro, and it exceeded my expectations. Delivery was also super quick. I wish I didn’t eat it so quickly so I could still enjoy how good it was.
Outstanding food and service. The decorations, music, and price were also amazing. Cannot recommend enough. This is my new favorite spot in Montclair!
The food was delicious and so fresh and pretty close to authentic Greek gyros. The ambiance is so nice and I was treated very nicely by the staff. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice too. I got the chicken gyro and it was delicious!I would recommend this place if you’re looking for some authentic gyros that won’t leave you feeling queasy and greasy at the end. I'm so happy I found this place, and actually i have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant here in Montclair. The staff were very friendly and went out of there way to make us comfortable. Our gyro sandwiches were so delicious. The owner Efi, was there to make sure everything was perfect. 10/10, will come again, would highly recommend!
What a REFRESHING surprise in Montclair!! Absolutely LOVED the food here!! I’m a good enthusiast AND Greek, so I know my food, and Efi’s was SO good! The food is all made to order, and VERY authentic. Ingredients are all from Greece and so incredibly tasty. Don’t look for 1,000 items on the menu - not here, they don’t want that. What they do, they do exceptionally well!I had been to the ‘other’ Greek restaurant in town and it was just abysmal. Efi’s ROCKS!!!
Excellent service, okay food. Staff oriented me to what they offer and meals arrived at our table within 10 minutes. I ended up getting a Chicken Bowl with my choice of tzatziki sauce (or you can choose hummus or eggplant sauce). The tasty chicken and veggies were plentiful and fresh but the sauce came in a little container and seemed too thick to pour and/or too skimpy to really enjoy my dish. Then my hubs told me that his Chicken Gyro Sandwich was just okay.
So happy that I stopped by for a bite to eat at Efi’s. I decided to order the chicken gyro and Greek fries. The food was served hot with delicious flavor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and sanitized. Looking forward to going back to try something else.
