Inventive menu, amazing flavor and presentation. We are definitely coming back!
Second time and second great meal. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!
Everytime Iâve visited this gem of a restaurant has been better than the last. Chef Beverly hands down is one of the best in Montclair (and her server Kate is an angel from Heaven). If you havenât checked out the new and improved Walnut Street Kitchen you are truly missing out.
our food was excellent. we had an outside table on a beautiful evening.
Really delicious food from appetizers to dessert. Friendly staff.
No one met us at the door for 4-5 minutes - seemed like there was minimal staff. Server kept disappearing into the kitchen for long pauses and there was no staff in or outside the dining room for pretty large periods of time. We kind of felt like no one was minding the store but maybe this is just new management growing pains . Food was nicely plated but walnut street pasta was underseasoned and bland, the bolognese was nice, fresh tasting tomato sauce . Ambiance is also sedate and a little shopworn and has a 90s feel- looks like not much has changed from when it was Corso .
Everything was delicious. The octopus, the eggplant, and stuffed calamari. ð
Our server was quite attentive to our needs. The chef came out to say hello. And one of the owners also stop by our table which was very nice. We had a delicious meal and I would recommend it
Most dishes were excellent.
Charming place and great food. The wait staff were engaging and the Chef came out to check on us and ask for feedback. They are BYOB but just a couple of doors down from a liquor store and across the street from a local brewery. All in all it was a lovely evening.
