BOOM shakalaka! Excellent service, value, and healthy af! Upon entering with a friend, we were greeted ASAP and were oriented to all of the choices and ordering steps. At extremely fair prices of $8.50/$11/$14 for S/M/L bowls, they provide a very satisfying and delicious snack or meal packed with nutrition versus bubble tea and juice which usually start at $5 and are mostly liquid. While there are 5 options for a cold base, I went for mango and matcha which both have really deep flavors and mild sweetness. They really compress the base so that you get more toppings. Then, they offer 3 choices of chia pudding, 4 granolas, unlimited fruit and other toppings, 3 agave nectar/honey options, and 3 nut butter choices. The Cashew Nut butter was amazing (and they offer free refills on these)!!! Their meticulous preparation and the nature of the ingredients make such a beautiful bowl. Though I only got a small, I was quite full and my tummy was happy. We love this legion of boom!
Açaí and blue coconut bowl with strawberries, banana, blueberries, dark and ancient grains granola, cacao nips, shredded coconut, almond butter.It was so delicious. The employee I spoke to today was amazing and explained all the ingredients. They were so generous with the toppings as well. I will definitely be back soon for another serving!
I am very picky about my açaí bowls but this place really has some of the best I’ve ever tried. The açaí is not overly sweet like it is at most places and they have a ton of fresh and healthy ingredients to choose from for toppings. 11/10
This store makes the best açaí bowls that I’ve ever tried. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are extremely generous. I encourage everyone to try this place at least once — I’m willing to bet that you’ll be back for more.
This place was absolutely amazing!! The workers were very nice and they were patient and very helpful. Not to mention their variety of delicious flavors for every level of the bowl, I loved it. The peanut butter made from only peanuts absolutely sold me on this. This store is vegan and gave me the best smoothie I’ve ever had!!! 11/10
This is the place you go when you want healthy but don’t want to sacrifice taste or experience. The owners work the counter, explain everything, and focus on healthy food. This was highest quality bowl I’ve ever had, and the amount of sugar was significantly lower than any similar restaurant. They’re very flexible on toppings and mixing things up. Give it a try and you’ll see the difference.
tl;dr Obsessed.I can eat boomchia everyday. They offer a variety of bases / chia pudding / granola / fruits /toppings so you can get creative and assemble your bowl to your heart’s fullest content. And you don’t have to feel guilty about it, cause all the ingredients are fresh and many are superfoods!The owners are also very friendly and passionate about what they do (they visit Hunts Point Market at the break of dawn for the freshest picks of fruit)!So happy boomchia is in Montclair.
My family and I drove about twenty minutes to give this place a try. After being greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful with explaining all of the items in full detail we made our choices on what items we wanted to try. We were very happy with our selections as they were very tasteful and refreshing. It was also very nice of all the toppings to choose from at no additional cost. The place was also very clean. My family and I will definitely be back in the near future for some more great and healthy bowls. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy snack or meal.

Delicious! Playa Bowl used to be my go to but I just tried Boomchia for the first time and now I'm obsessed. The store was very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. There are so many options it can be overwhelming but the staff was very informative and walked me through the process. I love that there are so many customizable options and flavors. The best part is that all toppings are included. The Bowl itself was very flavorful without being overly sweet. I loved how creamy the bases were. The superfood benefits are such a huge plus. My new go to!
