Visited the Baked Bear food truck in Asbury Park today. I had a awesome experience. Was greeted with a smile on the face of the server upon arrival. There were so many choices on the board. It was so difficult to decide which cookie and ice cream to choose. The server did a great job describing the flavors. I decided to pick the cookie of the month called lemon glaze and the seasonal ice cream strawberry shortcake. The worker offered to hot press the ice cream cookie sandwich. It was like the cookies just came out of the oven. The ice cream and cookies were so flavorful. The atmosphere was quaint with a designated picnic table area with strings of twinkle lights and a great view of the ocean. I can’t wait to come back again. I strongly recommend you try it out!
Some judge how a business operates when they are busy, however I like to see how they operate when they are not busy. Visited this place this weekend, one family in line in front of us with a flustered girl making ice cream sandwiches. We waited while watching what appeared to be "Management" talking up a storm in the back. So we waited, and waited. 6 minutes and 23 seconds passed before the poor girl behind the counter had to ask her "managers" for help. We then got our ice cream in about 1 minute.Ice cream was great, but I have a sour taste in my mouth about my experience, and not only here but a lot of places post-covid.There is a huge disregard for customer service.I am not sure why nobody takes pride in their work.Great product, terrible owners/managers.

quite possibly one of the best ice cream places I have ever been to. you have your choice of cookie sandwich or ice cream on top of the cookie if you are a messy eater like me. The gooey butter cookie base may have been one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. it was even warm

I can't say enough good things about the cookies. Is they feature a "flavor of the month" which is always tasty, and their "old reliable" varieties are just excellent! The cookies are baked in-house, from scratch, from company recipes, but with the best ingredients and consummate skill. You can even watch the bakersworking through a picture window.Fine ice cream, great location, and a friendly staff make for a wonderful experience.
Everyone from the restaurant across came here to get dessert!! ☺️?Get the Bear Batter and blackberry crumble! Serving is very generous! The server forgot to put my almonds toppings ??? and I just realized it when I almost finished the ice cream.
It’s a different ice cream and the choice of toppings is good.
