First time visit for cocktails and appetizers during COVID was good enough to return. Returned for late lunch with a group of 6 and each person left extremely happy. The service, ambiance, menu options, delicious food and presentation was spot on. I immediately recommended this place to a couple friends.* Highlights - octopus ?, scallops, salmón carpaccio with olive oil and rosemary gelato !!! Shrimp risotto

it was nice inside. they had people singing live. they were good. but we waited almost 30 minutes just for drinks for two people. and there's limited space between tables. when you walk to wherever you're sitting, whoever is sitting next to the seat has to get out of their seat in order for you to get to yours.
The staff was super nice and attentive, the ambiance is definitely set for a good 1st date or even an anniversary. The drinks were tasty but a little pricey but the happy hour makes up for the prices. Food was really good I was super upset I forgot my doggy bag. Would definitely go back.

My girlfriend and I moved to the area in June 2021, and since then we haven't found much worth writing home about...in this entire abomination of a state as a whole, really. That said, Q'tal is the exception. Top notch service, unbelievable menu, fantastic cocktails. We were there on Friday night and there was the absolute perfect complement of live music. Subtle, nothing intrusive, and fit the vibe like a glove. I almost didn't want to write a review because I'm afraid it will become a "discovered" spot, but we couldn't stop talking about it on the way home. And we had plenty of time do so, because we live 1 mile away and in standard New Jersey driving that takes about 45 minutes. In conclusion, if you have the great misfortune to live in New Jersey, there is a bright spot. And that bright spot is Q'tal.
