A cute little mexican food restaurant right in the heart of Kearny, Nj.Pros:- Humble staff- Clean Restaurant- Resonable price- All dishes can be served without meat, so plenty of options for vegetarians- Super amazing GuacCons:- Menu can be consolidated, it was just bit too much on the list- Potions can be cut down a bit with more focus on quality than quantity- The taste of the tacos was bit off, may be late dining hours are not a good option
I decided to give this place a try since I was closer to this one than El Rincón Mexicano which is my go-to Mexican restaurant and wow am I disappointed.Not only did I pay $19 for an order of 3 tacos and a drink which is ridiculous and extremely overpriced, but they were also not good or authentic. I ordered the bistec tacos, the meat was hard not chewy, it was very oily and the chunks of radish which I’ve never seen IN an actual taco, it’s usually on the side was shocking. And the huge slices of onions that were as big as my thumb!?Overall it was just very sloppy and poorly made. These aren’t real Mexican tacos. I won’t be ordering from here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. I’ll stick to my usual go-to from here on out.

This is an insane experience, I’m not Mexican but I’ve eaten a lot of diverse food including Mexican so yesterday myself and my colleagues ordered food here, I ordered the garlic shrimps, beef ribs and rice, first off, this cost $45, it’s not even about how pricey this is but how inedible this was, tiny embryos of overcooked shrimps that felt and tasted like rubber, burnt ribs and some rice and beans that looked like left overs. I was upset dumping it in trash. The burgers my colleagues orders were like something you wouldn’t let a raccoon eat. Disgusted!!!
So disappointed with the food. I ordered some chicken nachos I didn’t expect what I received. I’ve been to different Mexican restaurants and this doesn’t look like nachos. the presentation should always be a plus.
I love tamales and they have 'em just the way I like with the corn husk. Three varieties, all delicious!! ??
The food is good but i have to say that the service was really bad. My daughter went with her friend and they are students. The treatment that they received was unfair. A customer is a customer. They were not treated as everyone else that was there at the time that they went. My daughter really likes their food but she felt mistreated. If everyone gets chips and salsa on the table, the students should also. The funny part is that they were there after school hours, so they were paying in full price. Independently, if they are paying a student rate, you have to treat a customer with kindness and courtesy. I will never tell you that the customer is always right but in personal treatment, you have to treat someone the same way that you would like to be treated. I was going to stay quite but nope, I can't not let this happen to another student or any person. Remember, you have to be faithful in the little, you never know.
Best Mexican Restaurant in Harrison and Kearny area.Best in service and food quality. Totally hygienic and best quantity. One entree and you are full.
They’re pricey for less amount food compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. There are 2 better Mexican options around that are far more authentic, flavorful and worth your buck. Last few delivery orders have been prepared sloppy. Not a fan anymore.
HORRIBLE….I ordered from here with a super simple order….2 orders of tostadas and chicken fingers and not only did they take over an hour to get to my house the food was ice cold and 1 order of the tostadas was missing. I called them to see if they could bring me my order of tostadas and another order of chicken fingers since they decided to give me ice cold food and instead they tell me that I have to pay for another order of chicken fingers. Horrible customer service will not be eating here anymore very disappointed.
