Bagels are hard, chewy and taste like they were made days ago. Skimpy amount and thin sliced meat on Pastrami and Taylor ham sandwichs with one thin slice of cheese. ALL items over priced and can change daily based on what the woman feels like charging you for pastries on the front counter. I will go back to Wonder Bagles on SIP ave JC or City Line Bayonne, If it is the same owner for all three, I will stop going altogether
Place just isn’t the same.. not sure if they are under different ownership but it’s not close to how it used to be. Staff is rude and pushy and the bagels taste stale. The inside isn’t doughy anymore. They’re also skimpy on the bagel seasonings
I go there for trustee brunson they always have what he likes and they always have bananas which I like the staff is always top notch pleasant and the price is right
I ordered a wrap there. The wrap was good. But for $8:50 it was tiny. 5 bites. Smaller than a bagel.
Went to grab a "sealed" drink from their fridge and it was leaking from where you're suppose to open it- so it was tampered with. If they aren't inspecting their drinks when loading them into the fridge, can't imagine that the prepared food/salads in their other fridges are being monitor. Additional employees are notorious for handling actual cash and then touching coffee cups and other food items without washing their hands in between. I feel like these people are violating so many health codes. Also don't bother calling ahead to place an order because they will 100% ignore you upon arrival. They only care about the people that place an order onsite, but will also make you wait really long for said order. If you can't handle call ahead orders than just say that, but don't waste people's time by taking the order and then not fulfilling it or just straight up ignoring them once they come and pick it up. So many employees at this location and it is still a chaotic mess. My question to management, what are you doing to improve the customer experience?I give Wonder Bagels (at multiple locations in Jersey City) my business weekly. I buy breakfast with them at four times a week. I'm truly disappointed. Currently looking for a new bagel shop in town.
Best bagels around. They have great breakfast menu as well as a great lunch menu. I highly recommend going there you will not be disappointed.
HOT MESS, staff does not listen!I’ve been twice and both occasions they messed up my order. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese for my boyfriend and an egg and cheese with home fries for myself. His BE&C didn’t even have cheese, & on my food I saw with my own eyes them scrapping the grill of leftovers into my sandwich. Disgusting & greasy mess. Bunch of left over bacon in my sandwich & I don’t eat meat
I wish I could give no stars. I ordered 3 sandwiches and they obviously only listened to half of what I said. I ordered a whole wheat everything bagel toasted and got just whole wheat not even toasted, the other 2 were plain toasted and those weren't toasted either, they gave me the least amount possible of pastrami and it sat in the middle of both sides of the sandwich and a splash of ketchup. When I go to the one in Bayonne by Walmart or the one on Sip Ave I never have an issue no matter how crowded it is. They need to get it together. If you didn't hear me, you should've asked me to repeat myself.
This Wonder Bagel on Danforth Ave is the worst! They forget things you ordered and paid for & all you get is a sorry. I can see if it happens once but 2 or 3 times is shameful for a business. Than the girl on the phone want to raise her voice to me like it’s my fault they screwed up my order. It’s time to stop ordering from there because no one cares sorry not sorry is their attitude ??♀️
When I lived here these were a staple of my diet, and I would often bring them to people on trips to watch them go nuts. Every time I'm back I grab a dozen and a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel at least.
