Best sushi in the town. Very courteous staff and super fast service. The shrimp shumai is amazing and the fried chicken roll is out of the world. I would highly recommend this place for people who are exploring affordable sushi places around. The prices on Uber Eats are on average 20% high even for pickup.
We had no plans for sushi the day we passed the Wisp truck, but on impulse decided to order a few rolls. Every single piece was so delicious, I can still taste it. Can’t wait to try all their unique rolls. I just wish there was a simple way to see the location schedule for the week. I checked the website and Instagram several times, but it’s not always clear.

Always a good choice, never had a bad experience with Wisp. I’ve ordered from pricey sushi joints around JC and Harrison, all of which had sushi that was not as fresh as Wisp but pricier. Would recommend trying if you haven’t already!
We have been ordering from Wisp Express since 2020 and I am sorry for not leaving a google review sooner.Bowen and the team remembered me after only placing one or two orders and it has been true sushi love ever since. Every time we have visitors from out of town or people move to the area we always order or recommend Wisp.Some of our favorites are the Everest, mango mango, strawberry express, McQueen, and Wisp rolls. They also have one of the best sweet potato rolls I’ve ever had - and I can’t forget about the takoyaki!If the truck is closed, we simply don’t order from anywhere else. They are the best quality sushi in all of Jersey City and Hoboken - so much that even my kitten tries to steal it from me.Thanks to the Wisp crew for always giving us the best sushi around. We love you guys!
Hands down the best sushi spot in Jersey City. I ordered a 100 piece platter for a party and it was a work of art and above all delicious. The staff were so kind and made the experience Seamless.
Don’t let the fact that this is a food truck dissuade you, this is excellent sushi on par with anything you can get in the area. Truly a great place to eat, compared with any other sushi places.
Hands down some of the best sushi I've ever had and I've been all over with the military.The staff is personable, considerate and friendly. My 100% go to for sushi in Jersey City. They come to my complex every Wednesday and it's great. I was a Honshu Sushi man but their customer service is trash and the food has dropped in quality.Try the Kani salad! It's phenomenal. Literally, I've never had a bad experience. Keep up the good work!
