As I walked into Tony Boloney's in Jersey City, NJ, I seen a very large woman with black hair and a double chin picking at her nose. I tried to ignore the booger hanging out of her nose as she took my order. After she put the pizza in the oven, she starts playing with her hair. Again, I tried to ignore it. Afterwards, I see a man come from the kitchen and he started playing with his hair under his hat. I couldn't ignore it any longer. I then told the hard to look at woman that I can see them touching their hair and nose and to please stop while preparing my food. She got an attitude and asked if I wanted my money back. I then told her I would happily leave a review instead and I left. Please do not go there. The workers are disgusting and rude.
Absolutely love the tikka pizza. They should top it up with paneer cheese to seal the deal.
I liked their signature sandwich called OLE.A little spicy though!
BUYER BEWARE! The pizza is good, but the service is questionable. I've placed delivery orders with them about 2 or 3 other times with no issues. However, there was an issue with my most recent order. AFTER I had already placed my order and received an order confirmation email, I received a call from them explaining that 1 of the items was no longer available and they wouldn't be making anymore for the night. I was told that they would make an adjustment to my bill though. Several days later and it hasn't yet happened. As a matter of fact, the charge for the unadjusted total went through today so I called the shop and was advised to email their regional manager, Tom. Still waiting for a response.After reading some of the other reviews from folks who have had similar experiences it looks like I won't be hearing back from them or getting a refund. If that's the case, I definitely won't be ordering from them ever again and will advise others to beware. Unless and until there's some sort of resolution I'm giving them 1 star.Update: The email I sent to "Tom" bounced back, so I forwarded it to Mike who responded to some of these older reviews. So far no response.ETA 2/22/2022: I misspelled "boloney" in the email address so apparently my email didn't go through. I re-sent my message to the correct address and will give them till the end of the week (2/25/2022) to respond.
We absolutely LOVE the Baloney Rex.. not only is it fun to pull out the bone but it's incredibly delicious too!! Seoul Train is yummy as well! My husband and I get both and share them! Can't wait to pull out again ?
Two times in a row I have ordered from this spot and there’s been an issue. Tonight half of my order was missing when it arrived. I ordered the Stinger Wings and they were so dry, so disgusting. Ordered a salad and it came with no dressing. Spent $86 and I didn’t eat. What a bummer. Used to order from the Hoboken location and never had a problem, so I know it can be good. This is wack.EDIT: just called them in regards to a refund. Got hung up on. HAHA WHAAAT

What a shame, quality is dropping be careful. I called them to give them a heads up as well since I order all the time and they didn’t even apologize. Also they sent Mac and cheese balls instead of rice balls. Not worth the premium price for burnt/wrong pizza.
We order and immediately pick up buldak (Korean/kimchi) boneless chicken. When the first opened this was amazing, moist and outside batter was perfectly cooked. However, more then often the chicken is dry and batter is almost rock hard. So sad, as it was one of our favorite family restaurants. I only gave 2 stars cause the sauce is great. I hope they read this review and make improvements. For now, we will no longer order from them for take out!
I had the brotherly love and ducktown melt. On paper, it sounded amazing, had all the ingredients I would want in a hot sandwich. I was soo excited to eat it.And then I took my first bite of the brotherly love. It was bland. I took another bite. No flavors surfaced. And I said, well at least I got one more sandwich! So I switched and started eating the ducktown melt. Same result.I was disappointed to say the least. It was hard for me to believe how a sandwich with so many amazing ingredients be so meh. But alas, it was.
