You may upgrade to brown rice +$1 or fried rice +$1.5Lunch special comes with a soup, which is by default the hot & sour soup, with option to change to egg drop soup.(I asked to swap after placing the order and they said they'd tell the kitchen, but then forgot because I got the hot soup anyway)I haven't seen their lunch deals on any of the 3rd platform delivery apps, so if you want to take advantage of the M-F 11-4hbch specials, you can call them to place your order directly.1) Shredded pork with bamboo over rice: subtle taste, feels relatively healthy while also being tasty. Good portions, side soup. $9.95 for pork or chicken, $11.55 for beef.Also tried the beef noodle soup, but it wasn't our favorite style.
Looking for a change of pace, we want something sweet, sour, crunch, soft, salty, and fruity. Sweet Sour Soup - The shiitake mushrooms, cubed tofu, bamboo shoots, lily buds, plum sauce and lightly beaten eggs make a great combination with the sour taste of the vinegar and the sweet sugar in a rich thick soup. The bamboo shoots had a nice crunch. Lo Mein Noodles - The soft noodles absorbed the delicious sauce of the ingredients that the food was cooked with a ever so slight hint of saltiness of oyster sauce and soy sauce. Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice - The delicate chicken and fruity pineapple brought the fried rice to a higher level of taste and delight. Our takeout food was cook very quick. Next time, we will dine in this nicely decorated restaurant. With our selection, we had EVERYTHING WE WANT … at The Taste of North China in Jersey City.
Great local option for Chinese food. I’ve gotten takeout and eaten in on several occasions. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. I find the staff to be prompt, courteous, and helpful as well. My only criticism would be that some dishes can be a little too oily for my taste.
Very spacious for big groups. Great place to get pan fried noodles. They have vegan & vegetarian options. Loved their general tso's tofu. They have high chairs and toddler/kids plates/ cups.
Great crispy peking duck! Amazing service, even provided a rose for my girlfriend on Valentine's Day! Would recommend 10/10!
I’ve ordered delivery from this restaurant for both the dim sum and regular dishes, and both time the food quality is pretty good. I especially love the cumin lamb! A little bit too salty overall but tasty.
Food was mediocre. Shrimp dumplings sucked and so did the garlic eggplant. Soup dumplings were OK at best.
I ordered UberEats today for my friends and I and I am swooning. I have had a lot of Chinese food claiming to be authentic but wow, the pig ear was phenomenal, the brisket wonderful, the tofu mushroom perfect firmness and flavor, the pork fried dumplings insanely delicious, the beef congee was wonderful, the hot and sour soup amazing, the vegetable fried rice not too oily and yummy, the watercress with garlic crunchy and flavorful. JUST WOW!I have to say, you have certainly out done yourself and I will be recommending you to anyone I can.I Uber eat twice a day, and finally someone has made me pleased.Stellar job! Stellar ! Superb food. Try the cummin lamb and the spicy chicken. The lomain was superb, tasty and light. Service was 10 star.
My girlfriend just purchased this order for lunch not that long ago and a few minutes into eating it finds this big roach in the food. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen and it is completely unacceptable. We honestly don’t even know how to go about this situation right now because of how furious we are so some immediate feedback would be nice.
