Was recently there for a bridal shower. Staff could not have done more to accommodate us. Food was amazing, owner was extremely welcoming to everyone. I have nothing but accolades for everyone especially Kimberly who treated us all like family. 5 stars across the board. Will highly recommend to my clients, family and friends
There are very few places that take me somewhere else and this was one of them. I almost felt like I wasn't in JC with the music, atmosphere, and food. The food is by far amazing and I would rate 6/5 stars. My recommendation is to start the chicken bites and then go for the stroganoff with chicken (better than other Brazilian places I've tried). Caipirinhas (similar to margs) are a good choice or the other cocktails.
J is definitely master mixologist and knows how to concoct a cocktail. Although I've heard good things about the food, I've never eaten here. Yet, it's the ambience and drinks that I love about this spot. If you cant afford a trip to Brazil, just get on the Path to Jersey City and come here for an out-of-this-[tri-state] experience (but wear clothes... You're still in America, not a Brazilian beach). You'll love it here and feel like you're part of the family.
Atmosphere is very welcoming, the place is aesthetically beautiful, staff is very friendly and the food presentation is very pleasant looking but the flavor is just not that great at all… Farofa, a very typical Brazilian dish, tastes exactly like the industrialized pre-made packaged one. And the meat, picanha, was tasting like that old steak sitting in the fridge for a while. The potatoes sticks also taste old and mushy. What a shame, because it really is a beautiful restaurant to sit down and enjoy the ambience, but unfortunately the food is not what you expect, especially when the prices are not that reasonable.
The foods seemed good, but for the price we are very disappointed with the rice portion. One little portion for three main dishes? Not ordering from this place specially when we placed an order 3 hours before picking it up… Very frustrating customer experience specially when no refund was offer. Just a possible amendment in the next order. In the phone call, a refund or discount was never mentioned, and as seen by the picture their “large” portion that should be equivalent to 3 portions is the same size of any other portion. We only can move forward by admitting our mistakes…
Amazing place, amazing decor!Food is creative cuisine and they have a gorgeous back room for private parties. Soon to be a speak easy upstairs. Classy, upscale and old world...check it out for yourself

This place feels super upscale and fancy with wonderful presentation, but I thought the food was just OK. The gnocchi was more of a mushy stew. The Brazilian cheese bread and meaty appetizer we got was awesome.I think this would definitely be a nice spot for a fancy dinner or cocktails but it’s not ideal for picky eaters (I’m not picky but I wasn’t 100% on this place)
What a great restaurant to enjoy some genuine Brazilian cuisine. Had a memorable time here with my family as we ate some delicious food and enjoyed some authentic Brazilian drinks from the bar. I must say, the pictures do not do it justice. The staff was super welcoming and very attentive to everyone. It is definitely worth coming to visit if your passing by, and if you live near, make it your go to foreign experience. Our bill may seem high, but that’s just because we enjoy a few rounds of drinks, and the atmosphere really adds to the experience. Go!
The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the Amazonia old-fashioned.The staff are very friendly and accommodating.I can't wait to go back.
