I thought I knew about every cool coffee shop in Jersey City. After all it’s really not that big. It was a visit to a bike shop across the street that led to the discovery of this place. From outside it’s got a typical look but when you enter you’re going to find yourself in a very spacious shop that reminds me of how cool coffee shops were when I was younger. There’s a upstairs and it cozy (check pics) and the barista served up a yummy latte that actually gave me some energy. When I was younger and living in Ohio I used to go to a place on Shaker Square called the Arabica. It was where the nerds hung out. The Snapdragon felt just like that but without hipsters standing around posing. A really cozy place to have meetings, sit back and sip with a book or browse on your laptop. Coffee shop in every way. If I lived in Jersey City I’d be there mad often.
A nice neighborhood cafe spot that has a nice warm cozy welcoming feel to it. The spot is spacious, decorated with cool looking art works and furniture. It’s definitely a place one can socialize with friends or go to have study/work session. The food here is also very good, highly recommended grabbing one of their delicious toast.
Very cute place with good chai lattes. I love that oat milk was an option and the pesto toast with banana peppers is awesome. The employees are nice and gave me and my friend a great suggestion to try (the bagel with guava and aged cheddar; give it a shot!). The second floor has the loveliest vibe and is a great place to do some reading or catch up with work. Definitely recommend if cozy coffee shop vibes appeal to you
Great atmosphere! The drinks won’t let you down from the hibiscus lavender tea to the cappuccino everything is simply amazing. The food is also delicious specially the quiches. The service is above and beyond. If you are looking for a place to work from for a couple of hours or to just meet new people this is GREAT place. I’m new to jersey city and this place is a jam!!!
I’ve been wanting to visit for a while and glad I finally did. The coffee’s great, for starters. I also tried the white fish toast. If it wasn’t as good as it was, I probably would have complained about the size vs the price. But it really was great. Also absolutely love how the space is designed. It’s cute and very inviting. They have books and games too which is a nice touch.
Place is really a gem. Great upstairs. Nice selection and atmosphere. Matcha latte best I've had. No added default sweetener unlike Starbucks. Same owner as Bike Hub. Another great asset to the community. visit you'll want to return
The coziest coffee shop I ever been too. It’s a great place to also meet people if you want to get out more. Their cappuccino is the best. I’ll definitely recommend :-)
My go-to place for coffee! What I love most about this place is it’s comfortable, you can spend hours in some of these chairs (I have). Wonderful aesthetic as well, very vintage. The food is great too, I really love the cheddar and guava bagel.
Great vibes with a friendly staff. I've been a customer since Snapdragon opened and I've always had a terrific experience. I recommend the chai latte. They make the chai themselves. Friendly staff, and they have a friendly cute cat named Bean!
Best experience ever!! Large and beautifully curated space for working or hanging out. The art is gorgeous and unique and the food and customer service is even better. The lattes and iced teas are so delicious and food is more fresh than most coffee shops. The customer service is the best part! The owner is truly the nicest and most caring person i’ve ever encountered. I witnessed him offer multiple people items on the house and he allowed me to try a few drinks when deciding which I wanted. People this gracious do not come by often. Please visit this store!! You will not be disappointed.
