Grew up eating their Italian bread and by far my fav, sausage bread!! Haven't had in years, but I'm sure it's still amazing!!

Been eating these delicious goodies since I was a kid in the early 80s. I now live in Ohio. I was so sad to get to NJ today and find out they were closed on Mondays. Can't wait until I'm back east again!

One of my fave ma and pop shops. Eggplant parmesan and any of their Italian meat sandwiches. Yum. The sometimes curt counter woman is part of the whole experience. She's actually quite sweet.

Hands down the best sandwich shop in JC. The bread is damn good and anything they make with it makes it complete. Be sure to bring cash as it is cash only. The prices are all reasonable with good portion sizes to guarantee you’ll be full. From the sandwiches to the platter to the pastries, you can’t go wrong here. They all hit home. Feel free to close your eyes, point at anything on the menu and be impressed. It may not look appealing but delicious they are. Highly recommended!
Even though they have the best products around, I drove 45 mins on Easter Sunday and the web sit said they had delay opening they did not opened. I was very disappointed. I even called no answer.
